Staff were helpful. I would recommend again but only for a budget traveler. the room was very cramped, basic and outdated. the room rate was cheap so I guess that was reflected in the quality of the room. Air con would have been good, but I guess a hot summer in the UK is a rare thing. |

Nothing; especially as we haven't had any apology or response from the management there despite our lodged complaint. We have asked for the Manager to contact us, as yet he hasn't. We had many complaints; amongst these the television didn't turn on, the toilet wouldn't flush, which left a terrible smell in the bathroom to add to the fact that there were decorators in and the smell of paint was so strong that it gave me such a bad headache l couldnt breathe or sleep. We have asked for our money back and to be contacted, as the manager wasn't available each time we asked for him. It was my partners birthday present from me, as we were attending the Brixton academy for a concert all in all it ruined his birthday and l would like some compensation, all we have had so far is a vacant response from the man on reception duty and your follow up questionaire. Please help Hayley Hawkins Tel: 07970 030240 |

Friendly staff, very satisfying quality for the price you pay in comparison to many other London hotels Don't expect too much of breakfast at Euro Hotel Clapham. |

Close to public transports; 24h frontdesk. Very noisy rooms at the frontside, needed to ask to change the room; Quite poor breakfast, basicly you can choose between toast with butter or jam and cereals. |

It was mainly the price. The room was clean and bed comfortable. Value for money. Breakfast is very basic. White bread and cereal only. Although I would be happy to stay there again I think it's important people understand it is a basic hotel. |

Extremley friendly and accomodating staff and management. In my profession I have stayed at some of the most prestigious hotels at rates of up to $1500 per night. Not one of these establishments has matched the quality of Euro Hotel Clapham. Well done and thank you. Nick Thomas-Webster - Actor |

It was close to Clapham South tube station, could check out at any time. Staff on reception were not helpful and did not speak good enough English. |

The hotel was located only a few minutes walk from an underground station which was good. There was no noise at nighttime and the room was really good considering the price. There was no lift so we had some trouble in managing to get the luggage up to third floor. Also the shower didn't work properly and in the end of the week the cleaner stopped bringing teabags to our room. |

The staff were all very friendly and professional. They called us a taxi to take us to Brixton Academy for our concert when we needed to go, which took 10 minutes and cost £11 which was good. The room had everything we needed, but no luxuries! You get what you pay for, £35 was a fair price for the room. When we arrived and walked into reception there was a strong smell of BO, I think it was one of the staff members who smelt, however the manners of the staff and the service they provided were impeccable whic kind of balanced out the BO thing! The bathroom was tiny but very quaint - everything worked so I cannot really complain. |

Location is in front of the park and not far from a metro station. A breakfast - albeit very basic - was included in the price. The room and the bed were clean. Walls in the bathroom were quite dirty. The water pressure in the shower was very low. |

The roof leaked right onto our heads at 6.50 am in the morning. Am trying to get a refund but it is proving difficult. I am having to do a lot of chasing after people. |

Fantastic location in Clapham, close to tube, opposite common. Very cheap- excellent value for money, especially as was bank holiday weekend. Would definitely stay again if i was having a night out in London. 24hour reception. We had a twin room, with a double and single bed (i got the double!) Bathroom was tiny!! Could literally shower whilst sitting on the loo! |
