total lack of restaurant although widely prominent on hotel board outside saying what a great restaurant they had, on Saturday it was shut for private function although an empty function room was there on show for all to see and closed as normal it seems on Sundays and Mondays. We had to use spike bar on Saturday as tired from long drive not wishing to go out to eat. The food was not that great at all and overpriced for the quality served ie normal restaurant prices in a bar. Hotel lacked atmosphere also as seemed short of residents despite being Easter weekend. Golf course seemed the busiest part but maybe people didnt want to stay at a hotel with no restaurant or atmospheric bar. We will not be returning.

Comfort of bedrooms. 3 course dinner was excellent and greatv value at 19.99.

Gym was very basic.

Welcoming and friendly staff. Breakfast cooked to order. Good spa facilities. Nice location - close to shopping (if you like that sort of thing), but equally good access to coastal walking.

Spa inadequately supervised in the evening: not such a problem for adults, but a little unsettling. (Are there "Elf'nSafety" issues?) The room was comfortable, but the 6ft bed was out of proportion. A 5ft bed would have left room for a chair and a luggage stand, which would both have been useful.

Had a brilliant stay at the dudesbury hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpfull. Spa was brilliant and very clean. Would be very happy to return to the hotel.

The spa is very relaxing, the staff were friendly and the food served in the restaurant was beautifully cooked.

Unfortunately, the bathroom in our room wasn't cleaned to the standard that we'd hoped for when we arrived at the hotel. We found that the last occupants towels were still hanging up on the back of the barhroom door and on towel radiator.

Friendly staff, lovely room. Piano player was excellent made the dining experience very good.

Poor housekeeping. Food was expensive and partly cold, nothing special for the price. Spa unattended, no notes to say where things like locker keys were. Sauna not working one of the days. We were on a budget break, just glad I did not pay the full price.

We stayed here Friday and Saturday night, it was one of the nicest places we have stayed. We had the whole spa area all to ourselves Friday evening with a bottle of bubbly in the jacuzzi! The Brabant suite was the perfect location for a birthday celebration we were invited to, the food was amazing and the staff could not have done more for us. The rooms are spotless and the clean towels daily were nice but not necessarily required, caring for the environment and all that, we could have survived 2 days with the same towels. The breakfast was lovely. Really deserves a 5 star.

The fitted sheet came off the bed in the middle of the night (unprovoked) !!

Reception staff warmly greeted us, showed and explained the spa facilities and then took us to our room. The room was clean, and nicely prepared with good size flat screen TV. Free drinking water in the fridge and the bed was wide and comfortable. Where we were the hotel was nicely decorated, warm and quiet. Spa facilities were also clean and very enjoyable.

Dinner in the restaurant was a little disappointing with vegetables being somewhat over cooked from frozen.

The room is very clean. I slept very well. The restaurant serves very good food. We have a wonderful time having dinner with our uk friends there.

Spotlessly clean throughout. Staff were cheerful, polite, and efficient. Facilities were 1st class. In short, a good experience in every department.

Difficult to find anything really.

Stayed at Dudsbury whilst on holiday and visiting friends in the area. The hotel is beautiful, room was small but immaculate and the pool and spa just perfect for relaxing. The staff were so welcoming and helpful and I will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you.

Everything was just perfect.

On arrival the recepion staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was immaculate, with everything you would expect. The bar and restaurant was exellent. The pool and steam room etc was extremly clean with plenty of towels etc, I went with a friend to play golf. I am deffinately taking my wife back very shortly.

A minor point. No fruit with breakfast.
