The bed was comfortable. I did not like that there was an expectation that I eat there for dinner. The room we had was very dark. It had dark red walls and black headboard. The light was poor and there was no light to read in bed. We had one window that looked over the fire escape. The WiFi did not work. The room was about twice the cost of anywhere else we stayed in Scotland and it did not feel like good value for the money.

Nice and very friendly and helpful staff, absolutely outstanding cuisine, great style, spacious and clean room, nicely equipped refurbished bathroom, total silence overnight, overall a fantastic experience!

Great location near Armadale Port which served as a useful base for visiting the rest of the island. The scenery is stunning which you can admire from the hotel's dining area where delicious breakfasts and evening meals were served. A computer with internet access is available free of charge to guests and friendly hotel staff were on hand with useful suggestions for days out.

It is a beautiful property in a lovely setting, and most conveniently located for either the Bridge of the Mallaig ferry. The dinner we had in the restaurant was really first class Our room was extremely small and cramped, with "lovely" views over water tanks to a very close-by high hedge

Very helpful staff, great location and a fine restaurant albeit with a limited menu. Room looked great, but lacked practicality. No way to hang any clothes, not even a stand for a bag or case. In the bathroom, no shelf in shower and with curved bat edges absolutely nowhere to put soap or shampoo.

This was our second visit to the Duisdale and we like to bring our friends because we know they will find the service and accommodations the best of the Isle of Skye. Our rooms were located on the top floor and they weren't as nice as those we've had before.

The hotel is located in a quiet country environment and the front office staff are excellent. Wifi didn't work in the room and the restaurant meals are very overpriced. Simple things like clothes hangers in the room were not provided.

The hotel was beautifully decorated and luxurious. the Satff were lovely and friendly. Made us feel very much at home. They were balanced being very attentive while still giving us privacy very well. The food was fantastic ( breakfast and dinner) . The hotel had a great location with amazing views from the front windows. We were rushing to try to make the ferry whe we left and the staff even phoned ahead for us so the ferry waited for us.

Bel établissement, genre manoir, surplombant la mer. Le parc est très beau et certainement superbe au printemps / été. Les chambres sont spacieuses, nous avions des lits à baldaquins au 1er étage. Le plus de cet hôtel a été le calme et le silence d'une part, et la qualité des mets servis au restaurant d'autre part. Très bonne cuisine, belle présentation. Le point faible est manifestement le service. De la bonne volonté, mais un manque de professionnalisme. Un après-midi, nous avons fini par renoncer à un café dans le salon, le réceptionniste - téléphoniste - barman étant trop occupé au téléphone pour nous servir.

Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal; Gepflegtes Haus; Schöne Zimmer; alles war sauber; Sehr guter Service und gute Küche; Gut gelegen, wenn man nur kurz auf der Insel verbleibt, weil man sehr schnell wieder auf das Festland gelangt --> Von unseren insgesamt sechs Hotels in Schottland (3-4 Sternekategorie) war es definitiv das beste! Die Preise im Restaurant waren sehr hoch. Dafür entschädigte aber das ausgezeichnete Essen und der gute Service.

Las habitaciones son confortables y dispone de Wifi gratuito. Tienen conversor eléctrico por si te lo olvidas, y la cama es bastante grande con dosel. El desayuno servido a la carta esta tremendamente bueno! Esta apartado de toda civilización, no hay nada cerca donde comer o cenar, y los precios de los menús son abusivos. Por la mañana el ruido de las puertas de las habitaciones contiguas es incesante, cosa que nos hizo levantar antes de hora. Nos sono la alarma antiincendios por la mañana, y aunque pedimos tostadas en el desayuno se las olvidaron.

Chambre bien décorée et de bonnes dimensions. Bon petit déjeuner servi dans une très agréable véranda donnant sur le jardin. Ordinateur à disposition facile d'accès et gratuit. Nous avons dîné le premier soir mais nous n'avons pas renouvelé l'expérience. Le prix du menu était élevé, mais nous avions faim en sortant malgré une mise en bouche suivie de 3 plats. Les portions étaient ridiculement petites, avec une recherche d'originalité et un mélange de saveurs pas très réussis. Par ailleurs, le prix de la chambre + petit déjeuner est trop élevé par rapport au standing de l'hôtel.

Die Lage mit dem umgebenden Garten ist sehr schön. Allerdings ist man weit von der nächsten Ortschaft entfernt. Der Hotelpreis ist überzogen. Dieses gilt insbesondere für das angebotene Menue für 45 Pfund. Es ist nichts Besonderes, was den Preis rechtfertigen würde. Am zweiten Abend haben wir daraufhin im sog.Chartroom, sehr einfach möbliert, Gerichte von der Karte gegesssen und wurden vom Eigentümer keines Blickes mehr gewürdigt.

Hôtel bien situé. Bon Accueil. Chambre très propre et belle salle de bain toute neuve. Chambre sans vue, donnant sur les toits. Dîner très cher pour un repas tout à fait moyen. Etablissement sans grande magie ! On paye cher la situation sur l’île de Skye.
