Pleasant olde-world ambience in most areas, with beautifully cooked breakfast by a very amiable and helpful host.

Public bar area spoiled the ambience a little. Unfortunately our room was right above main road - very noisy - as was the plumbing system in the toilet (must have woken neighbouring guests!)

Very nice food at the Pub and at good prices... the room was just ok, but at that price we can't ask for more!

Having the fire exit in the room (!!!) I couldn't lock my door - is that legal? In case of emergency all the guests had to rush in my room to get out - it's bizarre!!!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Around 10 - 15 min walk from St Austell train station, good location for a trip to the Eden Project. Nice breakfast.

Need to share toilet with other rooms. The wifi network is not good enough.

Parking was easy, excellent food and choice, nice family atmosphere with good local drink selection. Staff made you feel welcoming.

room not cleaned at start of stay, shower filthy, they were redecorating the accomadations and trying to improve the standards, I think they will get there.
