Helpful and friendly staff. Large room for 4 people.
Very small lift. Alternative is lots of stairs to climb if you are in a room on the upper floors.
noise some time
Wifi wasn't that good. Poor signal.
Nothing to note
Elevator very small no depth at all .very old Some rooms flooring with slope not flat .
Everything was just fine. We loved the place
The lift is a bit small but this was not a problem at all
Great location. Breakfast was included and was OK.
The room was quite small (but fine for our needs). They said there was no air con, so we didn't go looking for a button, but it was ridiculously hot. We found the air con when packing up to leave (doh!) Our fault though.
The location was great, clean room, very kind and polite hotel staff
Breakfast is a little bit poor, should be impruved, size of the room(very small)
The staff was nice and very helpful specially martha and anna the room was nice and clean
First room we had was very uncomfurtabl and hot their was no Air cond. but the staff was nice so we changed the room for a much better room
Love the room. Complete facilities .
Staff who speaks their language which my family finds it rude. They are not as friendly as the one in reception area.
Central location. Staffs very helpful.
No child safety locks on the windows, so toddlers could open the window and walk onto the balcony, which also has very low rails.
The staff is very helpful
Very friendly helpful staff, good location for getting around london
Breakfast room a bit small and cramped with no outlook
I thought the stand out feature of this hotel was the desk staff, both of whom could not have been more helpful. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable and a good choice fora business or holiday traveler.
Out of the three rooms, top floor room had the table fan making loud noise while on, and so we had to sleep without fan. A hectic night.. Hot.. Sleepless night. Thanks for that
Greeted by Anna at the front desk with a big welcoming smile . Allways a great start . My wife and I very much enjoyed the great service . Thank You all at The Duke
Staff was very helpful. Despite not having an air conditioner for the room, two fans were provided. Bed was comfortable as well. Was pleasantly surprised by the 'gift' at the end of our stay.
The WiFi was terrible. Despite showing strong signals, we could not surf the Internet most of the time. Was informed that they will be upgrading their WiFi in two weeks time.
Location is ok /near tube
Narrow corridor and small lift
Ridiculously hot rooms
The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The Hotel was in a great location close to train stations, Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. Breakfast was basic but Ok and the staff were friendly.
Our first room was so small you had no space for your bags and couldn't open the bathroom door properly. The fridge had been taken out. We were relocated to another room with a fridge. It was still tiny and very hot with only a fan and the fridge didn't keep anything slightly cold. We were moved to a third room which was larger and we were able to open the window at night. The fridge still didn't work. Breakfast room was too small for the number of people. There was only air conditioning in a few basement rooms
Nice Staff very helpful Perfect location
Everything, especially the person at the front desk, Maria I think who was very kind realizing I was not feeling very well.
The hotel is clean and comfortable with helpful staff and is excellently situated; at least 3 tube stations are in easy reach, Hyde Park is a 5 minute walk and Marble Arch and Oxford Street 20 minutes walk away and head towards Queensway Tube and the delights of Bayswater high street await. There is also a good pub, the Swan on Bayswater Road near Lancaster Gate tube, also only a few minutes away and their food is good.
Not a lot! The continental breakfast was good although service was a little haphazard at busy times but the staff were great.
- Staff friendliness and readiness to help - Breakfast, good price-quality ratio - Good location: Underground stations and Paddington railwaystation are close enough - Quiet environment
- Staircase was very rambling and narrow - Lift was too small for suitcases - There was very hot in the rooms without air condition! - Rooms are quite small for people travelling with suitcases
staff of Duke of leinster hotle are quite friendly, they are willing to help tourists as their best. The location of the hotel is also great , it takes 7 min to Queensway underground stop, and its also near to paddington train station which provides a 15 min Heathrow express.
