I liked the helpful staff , the easy access to tubes and to Kensington Gardens. Room is compact , but for this price , extremely good value.
There was no double glazing in our room - 302. It didn't bother me at all , but if you are noise sensitive , get a room on a higher flloor
Staff friendly and helpful
As a solo traveller I had a room with 4 beds - therefore space very limited.
Rooms were warm and the weather was cold outside. Good choice of food at breakfast.
The location is great- near many sights in Central London. Very nice staff, clean, pleasant, excellent breakfast. The bathroom is very small, but expect that in London.
Comfortable bed, very clean with a good shower so ticked most of the boxes. Didn't have time for breakfast, but buffet was very well presented. Easy access to tube ( be aware that travelling between 8-845 is nightmarish. Had to let 4 trains pass before I could get on one) Great outside these hours no doubt, but a consideration
Not an international traveller but was obligated at check in to provide photo ID. Informed it was 'hotel policy' ; not a legal requirement. Always reluctant to hand over ID uneccessarily as you don't know where it ends up. Believe me, you don't !
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Staff very cooperative
Narrow rooms and corridors
Friendly staff. Clean and would stay again as it's central. Fridge in room Bonus!
Couldn't open window easier room was very hot
Cleanliness, breakfast, the hotel in general was just ok. The location was good. The staff was very friendly and willing to help. The luggage could be stored at hotel after check-out for a few hours.
Our room smelled like cigarrette although the hotel is supposed to be non-smoking. It was really hot in the hotel, but fortunately the temperature in the room could be adjusted by switching off the radiator. Very poor soundproofing - one can hear even people talking on the street, as if the windows were open.
Stayed in this hotel and loved it. The staff were brill and offered me a great room with a choice of 3 beds!?!!! Awesome.
Loved the staff, so friendly and helpful. Comfortable room, good value for money
Was a little far from the tube station but close to bus stop.
Lots of noise from outside the window (conditioners and other noisy equipment). They run all night. The thermostat in the room was broken. The room was too hot to sleep.
Staff's kindness and availability Free in room breakfast
Too warm inside the room Mattresses were stocked on the stairs
Pretty good location, clean, quiet, decent breakfast. Friendly staff. Overall good value for the money I paid (discounted price)
Room was small
Location was very good. The staff were excellent and helpful - couldn't have been nicer in fact. Rooms are not the biggest but they have everything you need.
Wifi service could be better...
Location Value fro money in London
Location Comfortable beds Family rooms Price
Lift too small No bar Wifi didn't always work Curtains hanging off
Several restaurants and corner shops nearby, plus a pub on the same street. Queensway tube station a short, easy walk away from the hotel. Hyde Park just down the road. Still, a quiet hotel. The room was big enough, the bathroom surprisingly big for an English one and the staff very helpful.
Unlike the description said, there was no extra cost for the fry-up at breakfast, it was complimentary. However, that was only scrambled eggs and beef sausages. Pork was not served. In addition to that, the fry-up was never ready when we went to have breakfast, we had to wait every morning for it to be cooked and it seemed like it would soon run out, there was so little of it made.
Flexiblility. We were accommodated in a bigger family room after request.
The size of the restaurant is a bit crowded. The lift is too small.
Staff location room would def recommend
Would have like a softer/feather pillow
We got the family room On the top floor The room was terrible and covered with damp all over 2 walls
The staff is warm-hearted and it makes me happy. The location is good. It is about 10 minutes walk to Paddington Station and Bayswater Station. The price is not high, so it is value for money.
We are been put in second floor and it is a little noisy outside. The wifi is free but the signal is not good enough.
Breakfast was better than we expected staff were very helpful
We were in the basement and voices where loud early in the mornings,
beds were really comfortable. The mattresses felt new. Shower was powerful but a small enclosure. The hotel was in a nice location.
The breakfast room was small & could not accommodate all guests. Five of us had to wait 10 mins to get a table. Brekfast was only o.k, not much choice.
