Nothing. All good.
Room was clean and tidy everything I needed for a short stay was there. The complementary breakfast had a good variety. I would stay again.
The room was quite small.
Small rooms Small lobby Small breakfast area
Room Key / Abundant amount of beds / Dirty carpets / Dirty chair / Lack of bedside table and reading light / Curtains too small for window / Wardrobe full of various items / Could not fill kettle from tap / Paint on skirting peeling / No Toilet Roll / Wall mounted TV not moveable / Shower door would not close correctly / Price / Price / Price
the location was excellent, staff was friendly and the room was clean
unacceptable bed, not comfortable at all, poor breakfast
Excellent location.. Specious rooms.. Very friendly staffs
Great location, very friendly staff, always ready to help, good breakfast, very nice room. The hotel gives excellent value for money, and if you are planning to go places, it is close to three underground stations and Paddington railway station.
First thing to point out is the staff, they are exceptional, couldn't do enough for you, especially Anna on the front desk. She speak many languages and is always happy to help. The hotel appears to be being refurbished, with the room we stayed in completed except for the TV, which was installed on request. The room, while small, was a decent enough size the three of us. Location is fantastic and only a few minutes walk from Paddington, Bays water and I think Queensway?!? Which then take you anywhere you need on an all day travel card
The breakfast is very basic
Good location, nice stuff that really help when need.
everything was too tiny - make it a bit uncomfortable.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. location very good.very clean room with comfy bed and good shower. Breakfast was good.
Room too small. Managed with the one small wardrobe as only stayed for 3 nights but there were no drawers at all so would not have been good if staying for a week. Also Breakfast room too small. Not enough tables and claustrophobic.
The lift is too small and very slow
Staff helpful and friendly. Room clean and very comfortable
We had a quadrupal room which would normally cost a fortune in the middle of London, however it was very cheap for it's size and location. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Bathroom was very crampt.
The room was nice and big with a lovely massive window. The location is good - close to the underground but even to walk to for example Oxford St it takes about 20-25 mins. Lovely neighbourhood. The staff very very polite and friendly, straight-away they gave a good impression. I would definitely stay again in this hotel for the value of the money.
Some of the furniture was a bit dated but it was very clean so it did not bother at all.
Location. Close to Hyde park.
Rotting, filthy windowsills. Scuffed, dingy décor inside and out. Small room, tiny bathroom. Three quarter length curtain which compromised privacy until I propped cushions up to plug gap! Noisy but room located on road front in London so this is likely.
Helpful and friendly staff. Large room for 4 people.
Very small lift. Alternative is lots of stairs to climb if you are in a room on the upper floors.
The Spanish staff at reception were very friendly. The location was good.
You could not sleep because of the loud noise from the street. Double glazing is very necessary. The breakfast was of poor quality. The room for breakfast was too small
noise some time
1-Room 2- No extra charge for room breakfast delivery 3- Location 4- Staff in the reception was professionnal and friendly
1- Noisy breakfast room
Wifi wasn't that good. Poor signal.
Quiet location near the Royal Parks. Perfect if you enjoy a walk or run each evening. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included - great value - cooked if you like. We preferred the little dining area by the entrance. Unlike some London value properties there is a small lift - and the goodies include a free newspaper in a rack near reception.
It was quite hot in London. When we arrived we immediately looked for the aircon button - but very unfortunately all we could find was a fan. Which is a real pity because the owners have gone to some trouble to prepare a comfortable, value hotel. They just stopped short of what today is a necessity. The only other thing that bothered me was while using the fire escape stairs (quicker than the lift and there are only a few floors) I noted huge iron grills on the windows at each level. Great for security but it would be all but impossible for people to get out quickly if the ground floor area was on fire.
Nothing to note
Elevator very small no depth at all .very old Some rooms flooring with slope not flat .
Location was good. Room size for a family of four was ample.Staff very friendly. Room very clean
Bathroom was small. Shower head was not properly fixed. Breakfast room was incredibly cramped, if everyone who was at the hotel came for breakfast at the same time they couldn't all fit in! The decor on the stairs was shabby and unfortunately the positioning of the lift robbed the stairway of all of its former grandeur.
Hotel took the payment out of my account twice, therefore had a low amount of spending money for the rest of my trip. Staff assured me the money would be refunded into my account asap, however the money did not enter my account until I returned home. As I am a student and had saved up for this trip with my friends, this situation limited the activities we were able to do over the five days that we were there! Will not be returning here in the future and would not recommend to anyone.
Everything was just fine. We loved the place
The lift is a bit small but this was not a problem at all
