A friendly, family-run guesthouse located a short walk from Southport's famous Lord Street and Theater. Wi-Fi and parking are free. All the bedrooms have a bathroom with a hairdryer.

With a modern recreation center and 2 traditional restaurants, Scarisbrick Hotel also features a cocktail lounge and real ale bar. The hotel is in Southport center, just off of Lord Street Boulevards....

lack of cleanliness
The breakfast was excellent on the bank holiday morning and the service provided was perfect.I found the whole experience gratifying and would gladly revisit the Dukes Folly. Thank you
Friendly staff, good breakfast, comfy beds.
A little scruffy in the en suite.
Excellent location, staff very friendly and helpful.
Bed mattress's well passed there best. bathroom a little too small.
Staff good breakfast 1st class
Bedrooms in need of TLC Soon.
The Bed was very comfortable the second room was lovely, Bathroom very nice, a good Television set, Brilliant hygiene.
The first room we were given, badly in need of general refurb, bed comfortable, but the only good thing about it.
Friendly staff, nice rooms.
A bit noisy in the morning - staff shouting to each other
Comfortable, well cooked breakfast (but toast a bit tired). Good location. No problems
Parking a bit tight but space available (at a price) across the road.
Very helpful and knowledgeable receptionist. Town centre location. Very nice bathroom. Clean and well looked after.
Breakfast service was chaotic. Don't expect much if you ask for a veggie breakfast. Staff pleasant but disorganised.
location for town centre and flower show
bathroom was shabby
The bed and breakfast deal was good value for money. The proximity to the flower show first class.
The couldn't care less attitude of the staff. The inability to fry egg's which were hard as bricks, cold beans, cold plates & toast arriving after the lukewarm breakfast and having to ask for it three times.
within walking distance of everywhere in Southport
Poor "kerb appeal",grubby, in need of refurbishment. We were in room I,very tatty and mismatched stained furnishings.
Staff very friendly
Parking, if you need to use it, is on the tight sde
Location good near town & station, small hotel got anythings I want!service was good. Breakfast good. Room beautiful & clean.
Staff very friendly breakfast good
Room tired no hot water
Would love to have had an evening meal in the hotel.
Staff were helpful and friendly
The decoration (of our room at least) is in need of replacement, and the bathroom in particular requires modernisation
Nice handy location to pier, transport and restaurants. Very helpful staff.
The car parking facilities were limited.
The staff Cleanliness Comfort Location Parking
The breakfast was good, freshly cooked and lots of choice.
There was a leak in the living room area with buckets and trays on the floor to catch lots of drips. The room felt cold and damp, the bathroom door did not fit into the door way so therefore would not close. Our window view was the fire escape and a brick wall. Cobwebs on the ceilings. No room in the car park, had to park on the road. The hotel reception and eating area were ok but the room was poor. We would have reviewed this hotel as fairly good had we paid a lot less for it, it certainly is not worth £90 a night.
nice clean great breakfast
breakfast was good the lady which looked after us at breakfast was very nice .comfy bed shame bout the room it needed up dating .
the room was not as good as we had last time we stayed. .If we went again I would ask not to be down stairs room 3 .
The staff were friendly. The breakfast was good. The garden, bar and sitting room were good. The location is good.
Room 11 was grubby, it had broken furniture. The TV was damaged and very poorly installed. We complained and we were moved, without hassle, to room 21. It was better but also looked tired and needed redecoration. The car park is small and "on street" parking expensive.
Bedroom not cleaned/bins emptied on daily basis No bath /shower mats
