    _Personal touch, not a chain hotel but still with all major hotels facilities. _Helpful staff _Great bar for martinis and cocktails _Pleasant breakfast

    _ Tiny room _ If you dine or lunch outside in the courtyard, staff is less present

    very friendly staff, great location, clean, a cosy and authentic hotel

    needs a bit of repainting and modernizing, some rooms still don't have double glass, engine noise

    Great location, attentive service, quiet, fine food and bar, walking distance to what we wished to do

    View from our bedroom window - perhaps the price for "quiet".

    immediate proximity to Green Park, ideal for an early morning jog. Excellent breakfast. Proximity to Jubilee Line with direct connection to City Airport.

    Elevators need replacement and proper maintenance by qualified global firm. A hotel of this standing should provide seamless lift service.

    I have stayed at Dukes previously and find it to be welcoming and elegant. The staff is attentive and quick to respond to all requests. I truly love the location and am able to walk to restaurants and shopping that is close by.

    Room service food was poor and overpriced. Whatever about the cost if was good wouldn't mind but breakfast was not good, porridge inedible. Ingredients in salmon and eggs only ok. Problems in kitchen?

    staff is excellent: kind, helpful and in many cases pro-active quality of the food is very good (e.g. the scones in the afternoon tea were freshly baked) the bar area was pleasantly bustling with activity. Service here was kind and knowledgable (cocktails were made fast and with experience)

    the only thing was "the view", which is lacking in view -:) But than, we were there to eat, sleep, so who cares . . .

    The friendly atmosphere of the hotel. One we will certainly use again and not the Ritz which is our usual London hotel.

    The best Bar ever!!! Super friendly staff everywhere.

    The lovely bathroom, the massive bed

    Expensive for size of room. Unreasonable room service prices, very expensive breakfast which for 300£ should be included.

    Staff was very friendly and helpful, and facilities were excellent.

    We had some difficulty finding your hotel. People on the street were helpful, or we may never have found you! Perhaps a "treasure map" to your hotel would be good for out of town or first time guests.

    Staff were delightful and helpful. The whole ambience is one of style and charm. Location is great and above all,quiet. Bed very comfortable. All in all , a delightful stay .

    Rooms are hot but the windows do open, which is good. Coffee and tea making facilities are absent, and really should be available for this price.
