The staff is very friendly. Dinner was amazing and our host John was going above and beyond! The rooms are okay, what we really liked are the lounges and the park.
The food was excellent.
The gentleman who served breakfast as so kind and helpful. He gave us great suggestions of what to see and do.
Great staff Food was perfect
Excellent size rooms Large television Excellent toiletries Price was excellent considering the cost of a Premier Inn or Travelodge in Inverness
Wifi is not available in all rooms Water preasure in the shower was poor
Courtesy and attentiveness of all staff; excellent ground floor room and garden view; quiet location well away from main road; well maintained extensive garden.
Receptionist John made our stay very memorable by showing great hospitality all through our stay
Decent gardens, good cottage and close to the city.
Poor breakfast and rude staff. The attendant did not answer the phone, if we needed anything so we had to go to the main building and ask for it. There was no wifi in the cottages, only in the main building, and the 3G had poor signal, so we were disconnected for most of the time.
The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Nice location and lovely grounds around the hotel.
The room had a very strong smell of bleach, the grout in the tiles needs to be removed and replaced as does the silicon around the bath. The mattress on the bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. It was listed as pet friendly but they tried to charge £30 per night for a single dog.
Beautiful setting and a wonderful location tor touring the Inverness area.
Food was not very good and the atmosphere too formal.
Room & views
We were obviously wrong nationality & not consuming enough expensive alcohol. There was no milk in the room for coffee. Slip said if we required dial o & it would be freshly brought It was never answered. The food should have been good but was not.
Good location and beautiful gardens.
Bed was uncomfortable and very noisy, only were given two towels for two people. Bedroom was cold, towel rack was cold, heat never came on in the room at all and it was a damp, chilly night. Discussed with management via email after attempts to discuss in person failed. Management's response was merely an excuse that old buildings have heating and plumbing problems, thanks for letting us know. Very unsatisfactory response when we paid close to $500 for one very chilly and uncomfortable night.
Superlatives are not enough for this hotel. Situation, staff, food - all outstanding. Special mention for John and Brian. Dog friendly.
Just superb, great setting
Decor, not my taste
I booked Loch Ness Country House Hotel for my husbands birthday and we took our 11 month old baby with us. We booked a Junior Suite room for three nights and had a great few days away. The Hotel is approx 7 mins drive from the city centre and is located in a quiet area surrounded by trees and nature. Our Junior Suite consisted of a large size bedroom and bathroom while it also has another small room in the suite for relaxation. Breakfast was excellent, good variety of cereals, juices, fresh pasteries and a cooked breakfast was also served if you wish to avail. Dinner can be availed of in the evening but we chose not to have instead we ordered a snack to our. room. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we recommend this Hotel for a relaxing stay especially if you have children, this is a lovely place to stay. We will definately visit again.
Cleanliness friendly staff Location Great food Just perfect for a quiet weekend
Beautiful country surroundings. Wonderful historic facilities. Lovely gardens. Great staff and Chef! Close to Inverness, Castles, Parks.
Would have been nice to have a walking path to Loch Ness; but, was an easy drive.
Excellent hotel in the country...loved the quality of service and great breakfast.
I would recommend mattress be replaced...quality not 4-star standard.
We were made to feel welcome. Staff were very polite and attentive. The location was stunning and the rooms were tastefully presented. Breakfast was delicious.
The only thing that we could fault was the slight delay in our cooked breakfast being served, but the waiter was most apologetic.
Lovely location and gardens. Great reception, super local staff. Good food and especially excellent breakfast
Location was beautiful with wonderful gardens 3 miles from Inverness town. Staff were outstsanding in all areas. Breakfast very good. Bedroom and bathroom well appointed. Lovely public rooms.
The food experience was wonderful and the staff were very knowledgeable on whisky, with many to sample! Location, a short distance out of Inverness and easy to access.
The hotel had a tired look about it. Need a fresher coat of paint to give it the final grand feel.
Great accommodation, staff very friendly & helpful without too much fuss. Dinner was wonderful - delay on dessert, but well worth the wait for a perfect chocolate fondant!
After dinner drawing room lacked atmosphere/character- but that's our only negative.
The location was fantastic, not too far from the city but far enough to appreciate the excellent surroundings. The rooms were by far the best we have stayed in. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and provided us with great information on the isle of skye which was our next destination. The evening meal was well presented and very tasty. Have approached other friends with regard to arranging another visit during the summer if available
We are returning guests here! It is a wonderful place to stay over. Very cosy atmosphere. Rooms are decorated really beautifully. Gives you this Highland feeling, you also have an outstanding view out of the window. You just do not want to leave the room. Lovely breakfast! Both times we have booked the executive rooms!
