Tired hotel, poor food, rooms tatty especially once out of site of the public areas.

The location and the bedroom. Easy access to train station to go by train to Edinbourgh.

Wi-fi only in common areas of the hotel. High cost, 15 pounds, to get it in room. The service at the breakfast was not satisfiying. Not enough attention.

The staff in the restaurant and bar were lovely.

We went for our honey moon, and booked through internet. We obviously didn't count at only spending £333.00 on a room. Didn't even include breakfast.was sadly disappointed that the MANAGEMENTcouldn't even give us a measly bottle of champagne on the house.THEYCOULDNT Upgrade us as they were booked out with a wedding. The other couple who had there wedding there the MANAGEMENTcouldn't do enough for. It dos'nt matter what the occasion is money talks. And that is just so very wrong. When I phoned to ask for milk for my coffee, I was told ' a few minuites it will be there. 2 hours later it arrived

Sensors on the snacks in the room! After paying £150 for a room I don't particularly like being monitored for toucing a tunnocks bar! Also charging us for Wifi when most places offer this for free. The plumbing pipes in room were very noisy and woke us up at 6.30am. The leisure facilities were very tired looking and dirty and in urgent need of upgrading. The bar snacks were very over priced for the quality of them. Generally felt it a bit cheeky charging us £150 for a night for the quality of the hotel. Wouldn't imagine would stay again unless got room a lot cheaper or the facilities were upgraded. I have stayed in many hotels and feel this one is very much overpriced for what you get

The fact that the sheets were dirty on the bed and had to be changed. There was no heater in the bathroom. There were no drawers to put clothes into. It was not good value for money

The hotel was 700 yards away from the function we were attending at Dunblane New Golf Club and this was the only reason we stayed there. On reflection we wished we had stayed at a different establishment and paid for a taxi which is what we will probably do next time.

£124 per night room only! for 2 consecutive nights! This is ridiculously expensive for the standard of the accomodation provided. (see below) £124 per night and no internet / wi-fi is included in this price because I am not a gold club member. (Which is not explained.) I only have to buy a coffee in Starbucks or buy a beer in India Gate (down the road) and it is compimentary for as long as I like!!?? The room (365) window was broken which made closing it properly impossible, and the window sill was filthy. The room was poorly cleaned rubbish and waste paper was found beside and under the bed by my wife. We ordered a double bed that was not present when we arrived in the room and I had to ask twice once we arrived in the room before it was resolved one and a half hours later. I made a £100 room and bar service prepayment and still had to ask why the mini bar had not been opened 3 hours later in the day. We did not use anything from the minibar and yet £12.00 appeared on the bill for something that was not specified, that I then had to get removed, how fortunate that I checked.

The rooms and surroundings were very nice.

The minibar and snacks were on scales and if you didnt read the notes in the room and picked amything up to look at it you would be charged even though you didnt want it. One of the staff was rude. The prices were far too high.

The room is good value

The restaurant was uncomfortably cold in the evening. We had to move our table during the meal. We noticed another couple leaving and the woman shivered as she left to the dining room. The following evening we were sitting in the bar area and then a huge draft came in as someone did not close or kept a door open. This spoilt our evenings and forced us to repair to our rooms early.

The hotel is in a great location& looks grand & majestic

The carpet in the stairs & corridor in the wing where our room was located was messy. It's probably difficult to keep clean due to the dark plum colour. Also the paint on the walls and some doors (also dark plum) liked tired & in need of redecoration

View and location.

Small bedroom,stains on carpet,cracked sink, milk out of date,self service breakfast. Very disappointed in the service and food in restaurant - tables very close to one another ,staff very young and inexperienced - expected better from an establishment that has Nick Nairn's name associated with it.

Clean and friendly. Andy in the leisure club deserves a mention as excellent customer service skills as he lent me a £1 for the locker rather than making go back to my room..thank you

No shower curtain in the room

We have been to d h h a few times ,and allways enjoyed our stay ,but we were a little di sapointed this time . we like the peace and the leisure pool

We were dissapointed that there was no cool water in leisure pool, we tried to buy some at cafe ,but they were sold out . and also in our room ,the radiator was ticking all night long .

Nice building nice interior. Nice restaurant with good food, but price of 98£ for to person for scotland country side does not much.

Room carpets dirty, lamp didn't work. Gym disgusting. 2 rusty old machines. Pools sauna and steam room are in awful condition. Looks like 20 years old. Defenately not Hilton quality. Far away from hiltons brand Double deluxe bed size wad realy small for two of us.

Not much on this occasion. The breakfast was ok although the tea was terrible.

The decor in the wing we stayed in (Room 270) was poor and the bed was not as good as those found in a Premier Inn. The tv handset was missing and so we could not use it. Reception did not respond to the information that we could not use the set. When we arrived the room was cold and it took some time to heat up. Overall a disappointing stay.

Whole hotel styled very nicely - lovely bar and lounge area. Got a very good special offer deal and was well worth the money. Got a lovely warm chocolate chip cookie on arrival!

Leisure facilities are in a separate building and are I think open to the public. Wasn't quite the spa and pool that we had pictured (admittedly we didn't study pictures online that closely). They do spa packages but I think if you booked one you'd be a little disappointed at the facilities as it doesn't have the 'luxury' feel you might expect. Our room was very small with a standard double bed (we probably paid for something cheaper but worth noting).

The central location means that Glasgow,Edinburgh,Perth,are all within 40 mins. It is suitable for a family holiday or equally a romantic break. We have been going to this hotel for 25yrs & enjoy leisure facilities, restaurant, whole ombience of the hotel.

Poor parking.Poor access with suit cases both into hotel and to rooms up and down stairs??. Poor water hot water service.Turned on tap ...no hot water phoned housekeeping to enquire resolution was to keep running till comes through(this seemed to be a rehearsed response) when eventually came through after at least 10minutes the pressure was poor.Room was average. Overall for a hilton hotel stay was dissapointing.

Staff were friendly and helpfull. Meals were good. Fantastic location lovely looking hotel.

The room was let down by poor maintenance. We couldn't close the window so we called reception. The girl who came in climbed on the desk and pushed her back against the window. We daren't try opening it again. The plug in the sink was broken, the toilet flush was dodgy, the shower support on the wall was wobbly, there was a feature lamp blown above the bed. Also the quality of the tv picture was poor. You also had to pay £15 to have wifi in the room this should be free in this day and age.

The surrounding area of countryside and th relaxed atmosphere

I do feel you could update the spa facilities. Maybe have a seperate swimming area for the children so those who want to swim lengnths have more room. The tiles and doors on the steam room were rather dated and grimey.
