Rooms were clean and comfortable,views over river tay were lovely,breakfast was excellent..all over excellent value for money The only thing I wasnt impressed with was the sloping swimming pool,pretty dangerous for kids |

The efficient reception staff gave an excellent first impression and all staff thereafter maintained this feeling of efficiency which was also adjoined with friendliness. I would not want to single out any of the staff - all in all; a great team! If I had to be critical about anything it would be the pricing of the wine per glass. I thought that £7.50 for a glass of white zinfandel was rather excessive and must be priced with a percentage profit margin well in excess of 300%! |

attended my sons graduation in st andrews-- really friendly staff particularly at bar and in gym a bit noisy -- near to casino-if froom at back of hotel my parents had room at front of hotel |

I stay in Dundee often and I found the locality of the hotel excellent, easy to find from the train station and town centre. The restaurant staff were very professional and helpful. The girl on the reception desk on arrival was not very pleasant and did not offer breakfast reduction tickets, when asked where the lift was she pointed and said in a surly voice over there. When we checked my sons booking for the following day they had no reference number or notification of his booking. However they sorted it out quickly when we produced the acceptance form from bookings.com |

staff friendly, rooms comfortable and food good i booked a double online and they only had twin rooms by the time i got there....who's fault website or hotel...sort it out |

The rooms at the back have good views of the river, very nice.The front view isn't so good. There is a casino in the car park area, open all night.There is a nice river walk at the back of the hotel. We were very fortunate to have wonderful weather. A patio area with tables and chairs outside along side the river would have been a nice area to relax in. We had to relax in doors instead! |

The location is great for a first visit to an attractive historic port, and the parking and charge was very acceptable. THe restaurant, it'e staff , food quality, wine list, and price, are entirely unacceptable. Buffet breakfast served cold food on both mornings. |

Friendly staff. Nice view in the morning at breakfast. Convenient for a stop over - very close to the train station. Beds not particularly comfortable, and the room décor is dated. |

Location good, romms fine, staff helpful... Charging for car parking! Room accees keys don't work reliably ... or at all Mistakes in restaurant, wrong meal delivered, corrected then screwed up again! |

I have stayed in various hotels for breaks and i thought the room in this particular hotel was disappointing, i expected it to be of a better standard for the cost, i was also disappointed with breakfast buffet, didn't enjoy this. |
