Location of Hotel. and most of the staff. Our room (207) unpleasantview, black mould on grouting in bathroom . bottom of bathroom door all ragged infact the room looked a bit tired. comments made by girl after taking our lunch order this should have been a lovely day as we were there for my daughters graduation but this put a dampner on the day. will be looking else where to stay if we come up to Dundee again. |

The location of the Dundee Hilton is very good. Close to the railway station and city centre. As well the view of the Tay is nice. The cleanliness of the restaurant was very poor. As was the service. At check-out there was a long wait as only one person was behind the counter to help. |

Peaceful and relaxing, attentive staff For an International hotel in Scotland not to sell Scottish beer, even in bottles and a por selection of whiskies is poor. Hotels in North America and Asia sell their own country alcohol,so why not Scotland? |

We liked the friendliness of staff, the location of the hotel and the views from our room. On arrival at the hotel there was no reservation for us even though this had been confirmed, fortunately though there was a room available in the hotel. However we booked a king size deluxe room and none of these were available when we arrived so we ended up with a standard double room, which was very disappointing. |

Struggling to find anything to redeem this tired chain hotel - I suppose it was available when all the better properties in Dundee were full. Very tired furnishings. Beware noise from ventillation fans if you are on the 4th floor. They promise to fix them - by rebuilding the hotel in 2015 (according to the desk clerk). |

We booked a double room but when we got there it was a twin. When we queried this we were informed that the hotel was full but they upgraded us to a clubman room. We were moved to a double room the next day but that was just 2 beds pushed together. The room was also much nicer than the "upgrade" we were supposed to have the night before. We were dissapointed as we didn't get what we had booked in the first place. There was no prior contact to say that our room was different to what we had booked. Oh, we were told we would get a complimentary drink for our inconvenince but we're still waiting for it. Very disappointed. |

The efficient reception staff gave an excellent first impression and all staff thereafter maintained this feeling of efficiency which was also adjoined with friendliness. I would not want to single out any of the staff - all in all; a great team! If I had to be critical about anything it would be the pricing of the wine per glass. I thought that £7.50 for a glass of white zinfandel was rather excessive and must be priced with a percentage profit margin well in excess of 300%! |

I stay in Dundee often and I found the locality of the hotel excellent, easy to find from the train station and town centre. The restaurant staff were very professional and helpful. The girl on the reception desk on arrival was not very pleasant and did not offer breakfast reduction tickets, when asked where the lift was she pointed and said in a surly voice over there. When we checked my sons booking for the following day they had no reference number or notification of his booking. However they sorted it out quickly when we produced the acceptance form from bookings.com |

They mischarged me by charging 4 nights instead of 2 and charging me for breakfast which was included in the price. |
