Food was very good location is very beautiful. breakfast is exceptionaly good

Money needs to be spent on building more tourist visit will help this

The bedroom had nice clean laundry and a couple of nice touches such as a hairdryer and a fleece blanket. It had a small basic en-suite.

The bar area had water coming through the roof and buckets to catch the water and would have benefited from an upgrade.

The Hosts really make the stay worthwhile and breakfast was superb! Was actually sad to say good bye! Would highly recommend a stay.

Leslie and Ian, the proprieters wer lovely, very friendly, accommodating and easy to get on with. Nothing was too much trouble. They made our room warm and inviting and cooked a great meal for us. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

The only thing we didn't like was that the shower was dilapidated and there was mould on the walls which put me off (although not my husband!). A good clean would be good. Perhaps the other rooms had better showers.

Very warm welcome. Hotel looked tired but was pleasantly surprise by staff and dining facilities along with well presented food. An ideal location for exploring the area without the fuss and expensive trappings.

Restrictive booking-in times. Very uncomfortable mattresses (two singles joined to make a six foot bed, great idea!). I could feel the springs through the mattress covers. I mentioned this to the owners who said no- one had ever complained. I feel the mattresses were in the region of ten years old, so I find this hard to believe.

Great welcome and food, room was clean and tidy. Don't be put off by the slightly tired exterior, it belies a great little hotel with owners/staff who are only to pleased to help with anything. Dinner and breakfast were superb!

The structure is quite old and you may get a wrong opinion before getting in. The people running this hotel are some of the kindest people we've meet and they did all they could to make our stay comfortable. The food is very, very good here and is at a reasonable price. Falls of Shin are just a few miles away, so the location is strategical.

The hotel is not far from sea/loch, so suffers of a very, very moist climate. The bathroom was the element suffering most of it and, even if it was clean, it is the weak point of the hotel.

Very friendly owners, excellent food. The bar is shabby but homely with two affectionate black labs.

Exterior appearance is rather forbidding, we almost drove away, glad we didn't.

Great welcome and amazing food , quiet but beautiful location close to the lesser known attraction the falls of shin , a must see for any tourist , a great hotel for the price even if its just for the food and a clean and comfortable room

Upon arrival straight away I was made to feel at home.The food was excellent and the couple running the Dunroamin Ian and Lesley certainly made my stay more enjoyable. A perfect location to explore the surrounding area.
