On the Isle of Skye, the 4-star Dunsgiath Apartments offer luxurious self catering accommodations and stunning countryside views. Loch Fada is 33 ft away and Portree is less than a 10-minute drive away. Each apartment features a lounge, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. There is a full kitchen. Towels and bed linens are supplied and the apartments are serviced upon request. In the Scottish Highlands, Skye is well-known for its wildlife, and eagles, buzzards, otters, swans, and owls are often seen around the apartments, in season. Whales, dolphins and seals can be spotted in the seas around the island. Walking trails and coastal paths pass nearby. [8:01:45 PM] Nigel's Laptop: Just lovely! Lovely apartment, rural, peaceful location yet just a few minutes drive from the islands capital. Made to feel very welcome by friendly staff at all points of contact from booking to arrival, a streamlined process enabled us to go straight to apartment with all paperwork already processed, no waiting around etc, - heaven! The apartment had truly spectacular views and was stylish in design, incredibly comfy, quality sofa, furnishings, bed etc. Good to have private parking and a beautiful private garden., again with incredible views. Would definitely recommend.

We chose the Leathan apt for our second night on Skye. Stunning location and apt with everything you could need. We cooked in the apartment and ate and drank wine in the private garden overlooking the Loch with the Old Man of Storr just a couple of miles away. Tasteful decor and everything immaculate. Bed, pillows and towels were sooo fluffy and comfy. Though there are no on-site staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.

Apartment was in a good location. Room was fairly clean but did smell very damp. Facilities in the apartment were good Bed was very uncomfortable - in fact it is not really a bed. No support from the 'mattress' and so was tricky to sleep well. Room smelt very damp. Not enough milk for two nights stay (1 pint provided for two people staying two nights). Website said complimentary bottle of wine would be provided, but it was not

Nice location, well designed studio appartment with everything you need for a relaxing get away. Guest book noted several light bulbs out of order - still applicable on my visit. Slightly bigger tv would be great - again this has been mentioned before. These comments shouldn't put anyone off staying at these appartments.

Comfortable, lovely bathroom and a great location for getting out and around the island. Appartments is just of the road and whilst it is not a very busy road it did take the edge of the otherwise romantic setting.

We never met any staff as we let ourselves in and saw ourselves out. The term 'luxury' did not really apply. We thought it expensive for what was provided.

Apartment was clean and confortable The appartment is close to the road, which is noisy and privacy is not good.There is no service at all. Very poor breakfast .The keys was to be taken in Portree which wasn't really clear in the confirmation mail, and we lost time to go back and get them

Very beautiful location, the appartment was very smart and very clean, love the bed (very comfortable) leather sofa was a real nice touch, lovely views and nicely appointed garden. We were little dissapointed at the following, many light bulbs out, the hot water only lasted one bath per day despite booster. the welcome basket had very basic items (would like to have seen some local produce) no complimentry wine as in brochure, the bed linnen was quite musty smelling and no sign of compost bin as in brochure. to sum up this was sold as luxury and cost to reflect, however far from luxury many many little things missing ie. welcome would have been nice, most of the things advertised were just exagerated , its a shame because the intention is there but come on guys half hearted luxury!!

The location was great, very isolated but with beautiful views and wonderful sunrise over the loch from the front windows. Our first impression was fantastic decor and space. On closer inspection, the flat is extremely run down and the finishings are very cheap: many of the ceiling lights had bulbs missing; there had been a leak in the kitchen ceiling which left mould on the skirting board; the washer worked but not the drying cycle and there were no instructions on how to use it; the kitchen tap was loose and it was hard to control the water temperature as a result; the bathroom had been poorly cleaned, glass shelves and hook behind the door are falling off; the bed was incredibly uncomfortable etc..This flat was presented as a luxury flat with a price to match but definitely was not luxurious. Not good value for money.

Landscapes are beautifull and there is lot of nice places to see. The flat is very clean with good equipments. This is a very noisy flat because of traffic just in front of the house. We expected to have a quiet and peacefull place for our honey moon, it's not the case at all.

Our first impression was fantastic the decor, space, very comfortable. 1. The floor drainage for the shower was grossly inadequate. 2. There Was several lights in bathroom (7) bed/lounge area (4) kitchen (3). 3. No soap only shower gel in bathroom 4. Shampoo/conditioner not supplied 5. No information/instructions on locking the door. 6. No instructions on the use of DVD/TV/Skye. We realize these issues seem minor but it's the little things that makes your stay more enjoyable.

A beautiful and impressive landscape around the apartment. Not enough milk, cereals, etc. for a stay of more than three days, although offered. A complimentary bottle of wine was also missing. An extensive incoherency between specially designed furnitures and badly equipped kitchen tools of IKEA.

Sehr bequeme Möbel, schicke Designereinrichtung. Das angekündigte Frühstück war nur zur Hälfte vorhanden, so dass wir als erstes einkaufen fahren mussten. Der große Schrank ist beinahe komplett voll mit Putzutensilien, die meisten Glühbirnen waren defekt. Der Fernseher war auch nicht in Betrieb zu nehmen. Und die Lage ist sehr einsam.

Merveilleux!!! Le cadre est superbe avec vue imprenable de l'appartement sur storr loch , confortable, avec tout le matériel nécessaire , à 10 minutes en voiture de Portree capitale de l'ile de Skye. A recommander vivement, dépaysement et repos garanti!!! A noter tout de même qu'il n'y a rien à proximité , prévoir donc un arrêt à Portree pour se ravitailler...

La posizione, molto isolata, ma in un posto assolutamente tranquillo e il buon arredo degli appartamenti. Difficoltà a raggiungerli. Al numero di telefono indicato non rispondeva nessuno. E' stato necessario chiedere all'Information Centre.

Appartement très grand, doté de tout le confort moderne, tv, dvd, jeux de société, livres, cuisine entièrement équipée, super canapés, tapis épais, chambre douillette, vue imprenable sur le Loch. Le rêve quoi! De quoi passer d'excellentes soirées, idéal pour cocooner et bonne base pour découvrir l'ile de Skye On a tout aimé
