This former 19th-century schoolhouse has been converted into a comfortable hotel with a friendly atmosphere. Himley Hotel is located on the Shropshire border, on the edge of Dudley.

Built in classic French chateau style in 1875, the Chateau Impney is now an enchanting hotel with unique character. All rooms are en suite with a TV, and there is free Wi-Fi in public areas.
Score from 440 reviews Very good
the choice of champagne !!!
it was a bit noisy … due to a full house and an event
Dinning room lacked atmosphere Payed extra for everything, not great value for money
Pleasant stay for one night. Difficult to give much of an appraisal, as the hotel was virtually empty (short-staffed) and the restaurant was not open on Sunday evening.
It was clean
The food and size of room for money
The welcome was most warm and friendly .. helped with our luggage .. room had a lot of character and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay ..
restaurant not available due to other functions .. plenty of warning .. not a real problem and lovely village just around the corner .. good food !!
The staff were very accommodating and professional. The hotel is full of character and very comfortable. We had a family celebration and the food was excellent even with a large number to serve. I would highly recommend Dunsley to anyone wanting a quiet clean hotel in the country but with good links.
A delightful old country house with comfort and charm
Prices do not include breakfast
Staff, great building, atmosphere, very comfortable
Great atmosphere, great food, great service.we will return New manager was very professional and friendly Will recommend to others
What's not to like?
We were very happy with the service, the staff were helpful and friendly and our room clean and comfortable.
A great property with a very good management team. Large rooms with beautiful views. Great grounds.
Wonderfully, hurl ful and friendly staff.
Tuck-in beds. No duvets!
The feel of the property and the grounds
Beautiful building in lovely countryside - extremely peaceful Good evening meal
Couldn't get wifi from my room and layout wasn't very conducive for working at a desk / table. I appreciate as a leisure / wedding venue this isn't an issue at all
peace, quiet and beautiful surroundings
we made allowances for the building work and preparations for a large function on our departure day, and would certainly return, probably at a weekend when it has a busier feel.
Style & ambience
Wi-Fi hopeless & reception often unmanned
Comfortable, friendly people, overall a very nice country house hotel both for accommodation and dining.
Couldn't fault anything.
A real find. Had Marsh Room which had a lovely view over pond and valley. Will be back as we come up this way about twice a year.
Nothing. You will need transport as it isnt in the city.
We loved the way they had decorated the hotel for Christmas, it looked beautiful. We liked the period décor and the cosy lounge with sofas and open fire. The bed was very comfortable.
The initial welcome was missing as no staff there. Staff promised front door would be open until midnight but we arrived back at 11pm and were locked out! Breakfast was good but seemed too expensive at £12.50 per person.
Attentive and friendly staff, lovely setting and clean rooms. Stayed here many times and highly recommend. Good food and wine.
Staff were amazing, food was great and the accommodation looked beautiful
I was allocated the garden room and it was pretty cold, even with an addition heater put in the room. I think a duvet would have been better rather than blankets
Lovely original features in the building. Not chain hotel in style. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Room rather on the chilly side.
The value for money for what I paid through booking.com was wonderful. Prices quoted locally are very much higher. It is a beautiful, iconic building in a superbly quiet location.
