Score from 384 reviews Very good
The food in the bar area was of good quality, although a little expensive. The staff were very attentive and friendly.
The bedrooms require updating. The outlook from our rearbedroom window was onto a flat roof which was covered in electrical cables and air conditioning units.....not the best of views from the window
Beds food relaxing
Very poor wi Fi
Nice big room
With fi only in public areas
Car parking, comfortable bed, choice of drinks in bar.
Weak shower flow in room 2.Noise and fat smell from extractor fan when window open.
Everything there that was required. Nice room with a good bathroom. Pleasant people. Enormous breakfast. Good choice of food throughout the day. Enjoyable quiz night.
Room was warm - no heating on either! Didn't always want to leave the window ajar as we looked out on to the air con units and the extractor fan from the kitchen. The smell of cooking was a bit much on times. Will stay again and hope to have one of the rooms facing the other side.
Excellent location, just 5 minutes walk from the seafront.Very friendly staff.Lovely full English breakfast served in delightful open part of the restaurant.Bed comfortable, good supply of tea, coffee and biscuits in the room.Decent-sized TV in the room.
We were in room 5, not huge but adequate.Difficult to use shower as no room to stand up in the bath due to low sloping roof.Bath was nice though and water always nice and hot.No WIFI signal in the room - but ok in the restaurant.
Very comfortable bed & excellent breakfast.
Food was excellent and staff very attentive
Room was very basic
Friendliness, food and good comfortable bed, not forgetting the beer
Decor needed updating but it was irelavent
great location to burnham a 5 min walk to the town with plenty to do `Kelly was great friendly and helpful breakfast is good we had the family room which was big with a good size tv
just the banging radiator
Really liked this place, stayed 2 nights, very near to town and surrounding areas such as Brean, if you like walking its a must. Burnham is a typical British seaside town, so don't expect Vagas!!!!!!! Had lovely room and everything was adequate. Staff behind bar bit grumpy on times, served breakfast by a very pleasant waitress, which was very tasty. One gripe would be the price of drinks, why they are so extortionate don't know. But it didn't spoil our stay which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Price of Drinks
The staff were all excellent, friendly and professional.
Room 5 was a little small, with dated furnishings and no headboard on the bed. It was clean, as was the en suite. The entrance ie: the bar etc is tastefully decorated, the same attention given to the rooms and decor would make it a 10/10 rating !!
Lots of choice on menu, food was very good, lovely outside terraces with heaters, friendly staff. Room was comfortable and clean. Lots of parking.
Pub downstairs is excellent, great decor, fab selection of armchairs, good beers and wines, lovely playground for kids, good breakfast.
Bedrooms are on need of upgrade but that is probably next on list !
Like the place, the view from my room Bigger wash room then most hotels we had been. Comfortable place. A short walk to the shops and beach.
I can't go online in the room One big Spider on the ceiling and I don't know how did I kill one when I am asleep, it was hanging down from the ceiling near to my face when I was sitting on my bed, I hit it way. When I wake up there was marks on the duvet.
made very welcome
comfortable bed, great breakfast.
Not allowed spare key to my deaf, elderly mothers room. Have not had that problem anywhere else I have stayed. In some cases was provided with vibrating fire alarm to keep under her pillow.I was worried that in the event of a fire or other emergency that I would not be able to help her.
Comfortable, friendly and excellent breakfast.
Friendly staff, clean comfortable room, Good English breakfast
Poor wifi, evening meal very slow service & exspensive.
Fantastic breakfast we didn't need to eat until tea time. Lovely and clean very comfortable beds.
It would have been nice to have had small packets of biscuits to eat with your tea in the morning, however in saying that they would have spoilt the breakfast.
Bed Breakfast Bar Food Surroundings
Bath Would of preferred a shower
we liked location good food varied menu and good wine choices. Friendly and very helpful staff. [I left medication in my room staff alerted me and posted back to me which arrived next day Nice outdoor seating .Good standard of cleanliness in all areas. We would visit again.
Our room was a little tired could have done with a little fresh paint in areas. Also the room was not made up / tea coffee replenished for the second night I did expect this for the price we paid. The room got the sun on it and due to overlooking the roof the window couldn't be opened fully. A fan had been supplied and this was explained to us to be fair. The room was clean and bed comfortable. We would prefer not to have that room again
Comfy bed, & good breakfast!
The room we were given looked out on to a flat roof area, which housed all the air-con units. Also the extractor outlet from kitchen was pumping food smells into room. Could not have an open window!! Would not have stayed more than one night!
large breakfasts made to feel very welcome comfortable short walk from beach and shops
