Location, cleanliness, staff and very nice comfy rooms. Great shower.

Bed was comfy, bathroom clean and tidy. Staff were all friendly and accommodating, breakfast was excellent.

Road noise. Loose tap in sink and loose toilet bowl.

Excellent location, good value for money

Shower wasn't very powerful kept going scalding hot and then freezing cold. We stayed in room 2.

The food was very good. Staff were welcoming

Parts of the hotel are looking a bit 'tired' - in need of decoration.

I asked for a VAT receipt on departure which could not be provided. For a business traveler this is poor service and not acceptable from a Youngs Pub..

We were in Room 2 which is very noisy with air conditioning/extractor units starting up several times during the night. Bed a little soft. Prefer Room 5. Will only book a front facing room in future.

The friendly staff, the restaurant/ eating areas were clean and well played out. The breakfast served was fantastic one not to miss! When presented with our concerns about the problems we had, the management acted responsibly and their reaction was satisfactory, thanks x

We were a little upset that we weren't told the boiler had broken that day, resulting in no heating! The shower though very clean did not work properly.

shower in our room was hand type with slopeing roof so noware for a curtain or to clip shower head.although bath was very big.but we prefer showers.

Although Booking.com had made a mistake with our booking the staff at Dunstan House were very helpful, and were able to resolve the problem with the booking.

Kamer schoon. Ondanks dat het een pub is hadden we totaal geen geluid overlast.

Ontbijt tafel was niet echt schoon zoals glazen op z'n kop op een vuile tafel.Niet echt smakelijk. Erg koud vertrekt.

We had to change rooms, as first bed was far too soft and uncomfortable. Breakfast choice was very limited i.e. no yoghuts, no fresh fruits and no croissants. All of which were in the menu but not available. We stayed for 3 nights and asked every morning for croissants, yoghuts and fruit, but to no avail.Why was it not possible to walk across the road to buy, at leased, some croisants? We found this unacceptable.

There is nothing I did not like.

On a very cold day, the room was warm and comfortable. The staff were courteous,informative and very helpful. They seemed happy in their work. The bar setting, with the log fire, was wonderful and the lights were just right,not too dim and not too bright. The food was good.

I would have liked wholemeal toast at breakfast but I forgot to ask if there was any.

Prima ontvangst. Mooie kamer. Vriendelijk personeel en behulpzaam. Regelde uit eigen initiatief een taxi voor Cheddar Gorge! Recht uit de pub naar bed, heerlijk!
