Everything was handled with the minimum of fuss. Staff were helpful and friendly. Food was good and hotel was clean and really well presented. |

Top on my list was the excellently prepared Scottish breakfast with plenty of choices and high quality incredients. The hot chocolate wasn't water and powder mixed together, but luscious dark chocolate and whipped cream, which was most welcomed on a cool and rainy November day. Every member of the staff we met, from the wait staff and the front desk personnel to the cleaning staff, were cheerful, helpful, and seemed willing to go out of their way to accommodate any requests. Our room was cozy, comfortable and quiet. We have no regrets in selecting the Dunstane House Hotel. |

We really enjoyed our stay at the Dunstane House Hotel. The place was lovely, staff friendly, room cosy and liked the LCD TV. The food in the restaurant was superb and the bar was well stocked with different Whiskeys. |

upgraded to dunstane city hotel across the road at no extra cost. excellent facilities, would definately stay again. 10 mins walk to city centre, but quiet location, with easy access for driving along A8. onsite parking a bonus. |

Friendly staff, great breakfast When arriving in the evening I was told that we were "upgraded" to the Dunstane City Hotel, across the road. While the room we got was OK, I dont like being moved out of a hotel, in particular when they have already charged me for the first night. |

This is a lovely tradional Scottish hotel with indivdually designed rooms.The staff are really excellent and helpful.We arrived at 8am and we were able to go to our room and get breakfast at the hotel which was really good. The room we stayed in was a bit small and had no bath which was just a little bit disappointing. We ate in the bar one evening and although this may seem petty I think homemade chips would be so much better than froozen chips as this was an autentic Scottish hotel. |

All of the staff were so friendly and helpful they made us feel very welcome, a lovely old hotel, the food was fantastic we ate there every night. Would definitely go back and recommend to friends. The bed was a little too hard. |

I couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough. From the four poster bed and luxury room to the fantastic food, from the friendly and enthusiastic staff to the perfect location for both airport and city, the Dunstane House has everything for the perfect weekend break. |

Convenience to all the main sights of Edinburgh but situated in a quiet position. Good food and excelllent staff. Bus stop to all points nearby. If elderly or infirm, the top (third) floor bedrooms would be a hard climb due to the lack of a lift. |
