the restauant was very good. Nice food and pleasant staff I stayed in room 61 - the room was dirty/ dusty. when I moved the TV their was a pair of eyelashes un the TV - not clan at all! the room was mismatched with furniture - 2 single beds pushed together which didnt even fit with the headrest of the bed! Bathroom was very basic and in disrepair loose wires on the bottom of the radiator. Window had gaps and didnt close fully (although the room was still warm). The swimming pool needed a clean around the edge - dark dirty water marks exist! (I have stayed in much nicer rooms in this hotel!!)

Reception area of hotel /venue looks appealing until you get in the rooms which felt very dated. Cold water dribbled out of tap. Tv set was so out of date. Breakfast good. Needs some tlc.

The hotel was clean, the room was well maintained and the bed and pillows were comfortable. However we found numerous ladybirds crawling up the walls and we were bothered by a very faint but persistent tapping noise that went all through the night. When we mentioned these points to reception they seemed disinterested and did not apologise... There was ample parking space, the location of the hotel was ideal for our stay.

On arriving at reception they had no reservation for me !! After showing them my paperwork a room was found and things were sorted out. This was embarrassing and disappointing, I would have expected better.

Great value for money, Excellent location; we came from Heathrow airport and had a wonderful nights stay in the countryside The staff were polite, courteous and professional We would definitely stay there again and will be recommending it to all our friends and family - this extends to other de vere hotels that we will now consider booking first before any others

We booked the double room at a special price and we were more than happy with the room and service. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would stay there again. When we ordered our steak we were expecting 2 have chips with it but we had 2 order them separate which cost five pounds on top the total. The chips should be in with the price of the steak.

A pleaseant value for money stay. The bar back fixtures could do with a clean and the stairs were left uncleaned. Very little needs to be done to raise the standards of the hotel but the cleanliness in the communal and bar areas left a little to be desired.

The hotel is away from any main roads and is accessed from a single lane track just passed Denham Aerodrome. There are a large number of rooms. The hotel also boast a restaurant, fitness and swimming facilities. The restaurant food was good although the menu was limited. However you can also order off the bar menu There are also vending machines for snacks and drinks etc. Ground floor rooms are nice and modern. I would reccomend this hotel but insist on a ground floor room. We were initially put in an upstairs room. This was very 1980's decor and the flush on the toilet did not work. After waiting for 1 1/4 Hrs for maintenance (which did not arrive) we insisted on being moved to another room. This was a modern room on the ground floor. The upstairs rooms are in definite need of modernisation.

Good value for money and access to the business meeting we had for the following day. Suprised to learn that rooms were available at £20 per night for shoppers to London and we paid a lot more - couldn't see what the difference would be.

It was ideally positioned to break a long journey. The room-service dinner was excellent both in quality and value for money Breakfast was terrible. Everything was cold and there was no attempt to cater hot food for vegetarians

Excellent location to Harefield Hospital where I was visiting Attempt to cancel booking by the hotel two days before I was travelling was dissappointing and I was always under the impression that I wasn't that welcome and was housed in an annex to the main hotel in a room that was not normally used. Also the TV channel choice was limited and was not the satellite tv service advertised.

Location was ideal for our purpose. The grounds were peaceful, parking adequate and staff polite. Our room [No. 33] was next to the pool entrance and some users were not too careful when closing the doors. The room was very warm when we arrived and even having left the window open for 2 hours it was not comfortable overnight. The bed was small [4 foot] and would have caused 2 larger occupants to request to be removed. I presumed that it is probably reserved for single occupancy. The floor did not appear to have been vacuumed before allocation and we had to request a second set of towels.

Hi. We stayed at the hotel as we were guests at a dinner in one of the function rooms. Although I selected 2 adults on the booking, we were given towels for 1 person. The staff did not know how to turn the heating up in the function room, so we were cold all night. The pa/speaker system did not work correctly. The walls in our room were dented. Unfortunately we did not enjoy our time at this hotel.

The staff made a mistake in my booking but they made amendments by upgrading my room. Great gesture to take away the initial frustrations. The bed was most comfortable and we had a very good night sleep after the hard partying the night before. Loved your secluded location. Great place for a short break from London. The time restrictions for the use of the pool.

The staff were friendly especially the catering staff. The service from entering the hotel was poor. Several colleagues had to wait for over 4 hours to be able to access their room (they arrived at 2.00pm) Even at 6.00pm the corridors were full of dirty linen. The room ordered was a twin and we were given a double.

Communal spaces, free wifi, free coffee & tea in lounge areas, business facilities such as computers and printers that are free to use Rooms are basic and quite tired - some renovation needed. Staff service inconsistent - some are really good and friendly, others just there to do a job

Food was very very good - lots of choice especially for my husband and I who have low fat diets The staff were kind and friendly and very helpful The staff in the dining room were discreet and nothing was too much trouble The facilities, in our situation as a Christian conference with odd! Hours during the day were good To just be able to get a drink anytime was lovely and fruit too We cannot say how highly we recommend the hotel Even with little running around you were patient and we hope they were not in the way too much Thank you

The facilities were very good - it was nice to have a gym, swimming pool and tennis courts. The staff were excellent; they were friendly and helpful, and always very courteous It sounds petty, but the shower wasn't very good - it sprayed water everywhere, and it made a mess all over the floor!

The Jacuzzi was not working and the hotel staff were unable to give me a receipt for my booking. It states on this website that you will not be charged until you arrive at the hotel but when I had got there they had already charged me.
