Lovely modern hotel in beautiful grounds.Nice size swimming pool. Free tea, coffee, biscuit and fruit in the bar area! What more could you ask for! Our room could have done with a touch of paint here and there but the room was still very clean.

Room Service Menu had wide choice and courses arrived separately. One of the best steaks I've eaten, and that was in our room! Swimming Pool looked very inviting but didn't have a chance to use it. Free coffee machine in lounge. Excelent fruits on breakfast buffet. WiFi was the best I've ever had in any hotel room (about 100 nights a year on business in hotels!) First time I've ever seen poached eggs on a breakfast buffet; there is a good reason why other hotels don't do it.

The postcode on the booking confirmation was wrong which caused time delays and confusion with arriving. The correct postcode ends with a g, not a U.

Good location. Staff were eager to please. Swimming pool was a nice to have. Breakfast was excellent and served in the aesthetically pleasant main restaurant. We had booked to stay for 2 nights but had to leave after only one. The bed was horribly uncomfortable. I can normally sleep anywhere but this was no joke. My wife and I managed no more than about 2 hours sleep which totally ruined our plans for the Easter weekend with our 5 yr old daughter. Also, if your room is not on the ground floor, there is no lift; so getting to and from the room with luggage was not easy. The room was very cramped with the extra bed in it. The swimming pool complex was not clean at all and if there were 2 people in the changing room it was packed. But, to reiterate, I would have rather slept on the marble desk in the hotel reception than the bed that was in our room.... Very unpleasant experience indeed.

Always very well organised and staff are the best, in attutude, service and very very helpful and knowledgable even in peak Easter times always.. Always love coming down for a break, due to business committments never get to relax properly but DE Vere we do. Facilities well kept and very good hygiene also. We always send emails to friend and family recommending them to go even if it is a weekend break 1day or even two as De vere is very local to all our friends also
