Friendly staff, good food, good service, good location, good value. Entertainment every evening was mediocre, but OK for price. Overall a good value holiday, we would visit again if in Bournemouth. Room décor 'tired'. Could do with a make-over

Head waiter Richard was very good and also the lady at reception was very good. Food was not as good as our last stay. We were able to change rooms due to our first room being over the kitchen and the smell was not good. On arrival we were given our key to room and told the room number and we had to return to reception has we could not find it as we were not given any directions. Water preasure on the 3rd floor was very poor on taps and shower. Food could have been better not a lot of flavour.

The staff, without exception, were friendly and helpful. The evening receptionist showed me on her computer the walking route to my restaurant and printed off driving directions to my venue for the following day. Reasonable choices for breakfast and cooked food was hot and fresh. Bedroom decor was rather tired. Strange, extremely small, lift, though it worked perfectly efficiently (I was on the 2nd floor so used it to move my luggage).

The staff were extremely friendly. It felt very homely and that nothing was too much trouble. Many of the guests were known by the staff and return regularly. The food was excellent.

This was our second visit to hotel and we found staff to be as friendly and welcoming as before. The food and service in restaurant is always very good you would never go hungry at the Durley Grange Hotel. Dirty bedroom windows on the outside which makes rooms feel grubby.

Location. Pool and spapool both cold-advertsied as heated. Main reason for returning as winter holiday was for these facilities. Have been returning to Durley Grange for 20 years. Has lost it's appeal as being friendly, family orientated. Cleanliness very poor floor areas not hoovered and bath/shower mould and slime around soup dish and bath. Heating to room and hotel poor.

We were down in Bournmouth to see a show at the bic. We found this hotel was ideal for us. The staff are excellent and the food first class. Also the bic is within walking distance.

I liked Durley Grange Hotel because the staff were friendly and made me feel welcome. The food was very good. The hotel was situated close to the sea front and I was able to do a lot of walking, and also a lot of shopping as the town centre was also very near. Although I had booked a single room I found that I had been given a double room, for no extra charge.

Good location and car parking available for free Swimming pool was freezing cold, despite complaining it never warmed up. Advertised with spa pool, which was empty and not in use. Food was very cheap and basic, and the puddings were not made in house, they were very cheap and nasty frozen deserts, something like Tesco Value or Iceland

Not too large and friendly atmosphere. Room was pleasant although pillows a bit lumpy. Everything was clean and there was plenty of tea and coffee on the tray in the room The bath was slippery when you got in it to shower, a gripper mat would help.

The food was excellent and the bedroom was very clean and comfortable. The bedroom needs needs decorating. It would also help if shower gel was provided or visitors were told that you do not provide this as most hotels do.

Location and parking availability Fine for what we wanted. Seemed an older clientele type of place - a blast from the past - nothing wrong with that though.
