Durley Grange Hotel  

Friendly staff, good food, good service, good location, good value. Entertainment every evening was mediocre, but OK for price. Overall a good value holiday, we would visit again if in Bournemouth.

Room décor 'tired'. Could do with a make-over

Head waiter Richard was very good and also the lady at reception was very good. Food was not as good as our last stay. We were able to change rooms due to our first room being over the kitchen and the smell was not good.

On arrival we were given our key to room and told the room number and we had to return to reception has we could not find it as we were not given any directions. Water preasure on the 3rd floor was very poor on taps and shower. Food could have been better not a lot of flavour.

There wasn't anything I could honestly say I liked about this hotel. I have read other reviews and can't believe poeple are praising this grotty hotel I would class this hotel as a one star It's overpriced and there are many much better hotels at same price or less When I go away I just want a clean comfortable bed and really nice meals, sadly neither was available at Durley Grange Hotel

I was expecting a room similar to the one shown online but I didn't get one The room was small with an uncomfortable bed disgusting carpet that should have been replaced years ago, there was no bath just a shower that bearly trickled any water out, the bathroom was carpeted and smelt of urine The food was all pre-cooked and just about edible. We booked for 3 nights but left after 2 rather than stay another night and that's not good

The room is specious. Besides, it is comfortable.

I could not use internet in my room because the modem is not work. In addition, There are a few park for cars. It is an expensive.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and made staying at a very ordinary hotel much more enjoyable.

Pool was cold, whirl pool wasn't working.

Room bathroom and shower tiny. Extremely noisy area at night/early hours of morning.

The welcome.............the helpful staff............ The excellent food ......the muted music. The entertainment so varied and suitable for all ages and tastes.

The tea and coffee provided in the rooms is not very nice.......so we just bring our own.

Location and parking availability

Fine for what we wanted. Seemed an older clientele type of place - a blast from the past - nothing wrong with that though.

It is situated in quite a quiet location

The beds were rather hard, and there were many small flights of stairs - difficult for people with walking difficulties. Also it was rather expensive.

Very friendly and helpful, room nice and quite at night.

Just needs to have shampoo and bath stuff in bathroom

I liked Durley Grange Hotel because the staff were friendly and made me feel welcome. The food was very good. The hotel was situated close to the sea front and I was able to do a lot of walking, and also a lot of shopping as the town centre was also very near. Although I had booked a single room I found that I had been given a double room, for no extra charge.
