The pool looked nice although I didn't use it! I didn't find the hotel very comfortable, the service in the restaurant I found to be poor, the reception desk didn't backup what they promised. It ried to turn to towel heater off and water then leaked onto the bathroom floor.

the room was excellent the hotel was beautiful the bar area was nice, clean and very spacious, the swimming pool area and outside sunbathing area was nice, the spa facilities were very good also, nice sauna stream room and relaxation lounge along with a powerful jacuzi and nice pool I didn't like how the spa treatments were fully booked up, I arrived on the Tuesday morning and there was no availability for a massage until the Sunday. if you book this fantastic hotel make sure you check the availability of the treatments at the same time so that way you can enjoy this hotel to the fullest

We loved the position and close proximity to beach and shops and nightlife. Also we loved the services and the pool. The noise level at night was intolerable there was a constant hum of an extractor fan and also various Stag and Hen nights screaming and yelling all through the night, for both nights. The night manager came to hear the noise from the fan and agreed that it was very loud but could not move us to another room as the hotel was fully booked for the weekend. Although the staff were friendly and helpful no other`gesture was offered to us to compensate for this problem. I am awaiting a response to an email sent to the hotel regarding this matter. If I was paying £29.00 a nigh to stay at a chain hotel I would expect this kind of thing, I did not however expect it from a hotel I was paying £100 a night to stay in.

The location This was a very hot week and we had no air conditioning in the room. As we had upgraded to an executive double room I would have thought air conditioning would be standard. The room was no different to a standard room and was not money well spent. Accomodation was very disappointing. I would not return and would not recommend.

The pool was useful for the kids but was a hassle trying to get pool towels and the change facilities were dreadful. Breakfast served too late. 8am on sundays. Bathroom dark and dingy. The family room too small. It does not really cater for families, by the time the 2 beds were in the room the whole room was taken up. Wait staff took ages to assist and clear away plates. Hotel had not received reservation from booking, com

Notice was taken that this was our anniversary and the room was upgraded. I did not expect this so was pleasantly surprised. We made full use of the spa facilities it really was a major plus for our holiday. Room was too hot for the first day or two and I know this is something that affects our room 25 and others in the vicinity on floor one (I heard other residents commenting on this). I know there is a fix for this because after the two days all was good. So I would recommend you keep and eye on this. I'm guessing it has someting to do the systems that control the spa and the pools below??

The staff were excellent, very very helpful and friendly. Top marks to all the staff we encountered. The food was fabulous, I wished we could have stayed longer to work our way through the menu! The actual location was a little too far from the beach and shopping centre for us. Also the room was unbearably hot even with the heating off.

The hotel was reasonably clean and the staff were excellent and helpful, the location was a short distance away from the main attractions, so it was quite. There was noise coming from the pipes, whenever they used the taps in the room above us.

The helpfullness of the staff on reception. A nice breakfast. Initially we were given a double room with two single beds, I think this needs to be checked at the hotel reception check in before you get to your room.

there was hidden costs of £25 pppn as a holding amount which we was not told about even after calling the hotel before we booked in, none of the staff were honest with us regarding the holding amount and when it would be released back to us so we spent all of our holiday chasing the deposit back,, it was very expensive at the bar and i would not recommend to anyone with children as we had the room on the second floor , the lift was that small you can bearly fit a. pushchair in we will never be booking that hotel again!!!

Very comfortable although we came for the Paul Simon concert and it was cancelled at the last minute. We were grateful for a very comfortable stay, although I must say the lift did smell and the staff did not have conversational skills. Hotel needs a few minor alterations and please have a bit more pity for those that have never been able to give up smoking. A small area off the main road may have been more dignified. Bathroom and shower, lovely. Bed and Tv very acceptable. Well done! You saved our evening! Lift. Smokers - not taken into account. Staff a little non-communicative

Very nice, clean room and comfortable bed, although as with all hotels, the room was too hot. However, with the windows open and ceiling fan on, it was possible to cool the room to a temperature that was comfortable. The rooms would benefit from air conditioning and when the hotel charges in excess of £100 per night, it should have a/c. The food was bland and expensive. At dinner, my starter was small and very expensive. The main course of coq au vin, which should have been packed with flavour with red wine, bacon shallots and chicken, was very bland with none of the individual flavours coming through. All very nicely presented, but not much taste. Also, I had to check out at 8.15 am on Saturday morning, but the breakfast wasn't ready till gone 8am, meaning a rushed breakfast. It's not too much to expect breakfast to be served from 7 or 7.30.Finally, the rooms are too hot.....I didn't need heating on in mid May!

The staff were very accomodating. My friend has a dairy allergy and they bent over backwards to make all her meals special. The Spa facilities were excellent and it was a very relaxing stay. A most convenient hotel with a personal touch. Very friendly staff. Would recommend it. Despite requesting a twin bedded room 2 months in advance, on arrival there was a double bed in the room. Eventually we were given a twin bedded room but it would have been nice not to have waited around on our arrival. All was eventually remedied and the rest of the stay was good

The rooms were good size and comfortable although a bit hot as there was no AC, it was only late April and temp were not very high, had a balcony which was tatty/dirty, with a view of the roof with open pipework and wires hanging about , looked like it was never cleaned. Pool was good with warm temp which both adults and children enjoyed, the ladies changing room was smelly though with no hot water. They charged us extra for a extra bed in one room which was not mentioned , the guy at reception said they tried to call us to let us know but number on booking was wrong however I checked and it was correct. It is a good but not well maintained hotel which doesn't y justify the 4 star tag and bit pricey.

Lovely big room and bathroom. There was a lot of choice at breakfast and the food was lovely. The staff in the dining room were very friendly and helped with our 9 month old. The pool and spa were lovely and the massage very relaxing. The room was ridiculously hot even with the use of the ceiling fan andall windows open. In our room, at the back of the hotel, there were very loud clatters as the empty glass bottles were emptied into the bin, This was during the evening, not great with a sleeping baby. The lift did break down one morning, but was repaired by the end of the day. The wifi didn't work even with the booster, when I went to reception to collect the booster, I was told it had been rebooted, I'm not sure how true this was.

“Fantastic family friendly hotel with large rooms and lots of space. We had a large double room with two extra camp beds put in and still had space to swing a cat or two!! The swimming pool area is lovely and although children are only allowed at certain times it is still very family friendly. Breakfast is great and again it is family friendly, my children were very pleased to be allowed to choose their own breakfast! ” Agnes, Reading |
