Nothing to like
They were short staffed, no lift, poor quality rooms and wanted to apply a surcharge to Amex cards. They were expensive relative to better quality hotels in the area. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Comfortable bed, good night sleep, close to the beach (down a fair sized hill).
The staff was extremely polite.
Lot of thing were not working: the lift, the card machine at the coffee shop, the shower and the fan. They didn't have slippers and the temperature of sauna and steam room were quite low.
Everything was just fine.
Lifts not working same as my last stay 6 weeks sgo
being put firstly in a room with a strong smell of ammonia , had to request another room!
The staff was so polite and helpful. The best I have come across in a hotel for a long time.
The room was very small and only had single beds joined together. The room needed a little updating too.
Hotel was nice looking, was welcomed nicely and not to far away from beach and nitelife. Partner loved the spa he's favourite part.
Only complaint is there was no shower door so couldn't shower without soaking the floor, and it was soooo hot but was given a fan so all sorted quickly.
The food was good.
There was no hot water available throughout our stay. The lift was out of order for the duration.
The staff were helpful. The gym and spa were good.
Lift not working. Room too small hardly had any room to move around should be a single room. Very hot room even though windows open all the time. Wifi was never working. Changing room for gym was disgusting.
Lack of duvet on bed. Found blanket uncomfortable
Food was good, restaurant clean and good decor.
didn't think it stood up to being a four star hotel, decor in bathroom was tired light hanging out, fan didn't work. Lift not working.
staff were good
lift broken, in room ceiling fan broken, couldn't turn radiator off, so room vvv hot. Why no skimmed milk in breakfast room. Stayed in exec grade room, not very impressed.Hard to see what they've spent the £2 mill on.
the breakfast was good plenty of choice. the staff were friendly and helpful.car park for visitors.hair dryer in room also iron and ironning board... free wi.fi
the bathroom was not clean ,, no shower curtain .. thick dust every where in hotel .. lift out of order and no sign of it being repaired.. really needs a complete facelift..
Breakfast was really nice
Parking facilities only a little car park for the amount of rooms they have + having big meetings doesn't help
Staff. Food Cleanliness Gym Pool
Possibly no longer 4 star but good value for money
The spa facilities
the room was small, and smelt funny, it is also in need of redecorating
Reception staff offered no welcome- told lift out of order and would be leaving too early for breakfast. There was a big wedding taking place and staff seemed too busy to welcome me.
Spa was nice
Terrible night wont return night staff have no control over rowdy people
Up to date decor, great staff very helpful. Good spa facilities priced well, restaurant was good, if a little limited. Room was good size as was the bed. Facilities in room ok
The whole hotel needs some TLC great in places good in others. Some flaking paint lightbulbs missing taped carpet weeds in the patio tiles missing in the spa all detracted from the feel of quality. All minor things just lowered the overall experience
We ordered papers for the morning but they did not come.
Liked our double room the bed really comfortable, also liked all the staff who were very helpful and friendly would stay here again.
Didn't like that the tables in the bar/conservatory were just left with dirty plates and glasses and that they left the tables dirty.
All of it in general
Too hot in bedroom, could only open 1 winow, lift not working, room service food was cold.reception staff not very helpfull
very comfortable hotel very good facilities for your use if you needed to use them.
Spa and swimming pool were quite good.
Breakfast had no choice for continental style cheese and meats option with little choice of fresh fruit. Not as good as a Premier Inn. The room (104) described as Executive double was dark and the ambience and view from window did not reflect this description and was reached down a utility-type corridor and not in main body of Hotel.
