Hallmark Hotel & Spa Bournemouth    

Executive double room was nice, clean and spacious. Spa was good.

Unfortunately spa treatments fully booked but we could be to blame for not looking into it beforehand. Nothing to complain about hotel.

We liked the spa and pool.

Our room was very small, the breakfast on the first morning was very chaotic. They ran out of food, the staff were not coping atall. We stood at the bar waiting to be served in the evening. We were the only two people waiting and a member of staff kept coming to the bar but did not serve us we ended up walking to another hotel down the road for a drink in their bar.

No car parking space. Poor quality of one bath robe. Not enough bottled water in room. Heating unable to be turned off. Absolutely not value for money.

The Spa was very impressive

Our particular room (103) was very nice but a bit small, wouldn't want to spend a week in there.

we booked an executive room we were given a room in the listed part of the hotel which meant that we had to climb up one flight of stairs and then into the attic part of the building in the morning there was a 15mim wait for food to served

Nice staff, bar and outside garden Because we had a bad room, they did give us free breakfast.

We requested 3 twin rooms and got 3 double rooms. We was told that all 3 rooms were similar. 2 of the rooms were ok fine, 1 was an attic box room and the shower didn't work very well. It was very warm in the room as well of a night with the windows open. The light also did not work upstairs on the landing, so coming back at night was eventful after a drink. We was told that the hotel was overbooked and people had turned up and there were no rooms available after booking.

The bed was comfy and the bedroom was well presented.

We booked the hotel on the pretence of having a relaxing evening in the Spa. No where did it state that the Spa shuts at 7.30pm!!! After rushing to get to the spa for the 30 minutes we had, the floors in the changing rooms where swimming and had to find a member of staff to request towels.

I thought every one was very helpful

Friendly staff, excellent spa facilities and brilliant housekeeping. Truly a fantastic stay. Will certainly look to come again.

Some staff were great. Website photographer must have been amazing to have made some stunning looking shots of this hotel. It does not live up to them.

Hotel seemed understaffed at times - waited a looong time for a breakfast table. Spa was a bit shabby, steam room smelt strange and I have no idea what the aromatherapy cave was supposed to be, but it too just smelt of damp.

Initial room allocated was poor, cold, draughty, very shabby decor.

Was dissatisfied with the cost. The price i see on booking.com was not the price i paid. It cost us £13.00 extra.

Some spa facilities not working, service a little slack, certain areas of hotel grubby and worn, changing facilities for spa awful!

Paid for executive room and made clear on arrival but got a double room. Felt i overpaid for this

location to bournemouth town centre,breakfast was very nice.

the room was ok, would not have thought the hotel had just had a major refit, the room was very cold, no heating on. there was a damaged window which let a draft in and a lot of noise from passing traffic, reported this to reception but nothig done.

The reception staff were very helpful in changing our room which was far too hot with no ability to adjust the radiator. The friendly staff.

Not enough staff on duty at busy times in the bar and restaurant. The pool was out of order during the whole of our stay. Unfortunately, the night porters spent one night moving furniture from one room to another directly below our room which resulted in no sleep until 3am! They apologised profusely when I went down to them to explain how much noise they were making even when chatting and smoking outside our window!

Reception staff appalling except for male member of staff when checking out. I would go as far as to say incompetent. Housekeeping awful too, no towels in room asked three times, to point gave up on shower first evening before dinner. Next day we were out all day and back about three o'clock and the room hasn't been cleaned. We wanted to rest before dinner so had to send the girl away. Clearly under staffed

Hotel Looks a bit tired and the room needs a good clean. My boyfriend dropped something and had to move the bed and there were hairs on the mattress. The bathroom needs re grouting too

The staff all very friendly and polite, big car park and close to town center. Nice well designed room.

The bath hadn't been cleaned out since the last person to use it, there was hair in the plug and the bath and sink just looked a bit grubby. Also one of the towels had a dark stain and the TV kept freezing

The fact that our room had been double booked and that no one seemed to do anything to help us

Executive suite advertised online is not what you get when checked in very decieving,got half of my money back.

I liked how close it was to Bournemouth!

The spa was small and gruby the hotel was dated and was no way a 4 star, the electrics in the hotel keep blowing a fuse! And the breakfast was freezing cold!! The bathroom was brand new but the brought had fall out the tiles, it was shocking!!
