Good location, clean and modern room with all the facilities I required, friendly and helpful staff, very good value for money. Due to location and affordability popular for stag and hen nights so can be noisy on weekend nights |

Relaxed atmosphere, friendly and helpful reception and bar staff Being woken up by the cleaners twice well before check out time and the room was on the small side. |

The evening meal was of a good standard and the breakfast had a good variety of choice. I booked at the hotel expecting to be able to swim and use the gym, only to find the pool was closed; this fact was not mentioned when booking. Also, the gym was inadequate without the basic minimum three machines required. |

The rooms were too noisy. The bed as well. The shower did not work if anyone else was having a shower. Generally the hotel needs total overhaul in 'comfort' area |

Staff very pleasant and welcoming, layout of hotel great. Didn't sample the restaurant or pool, as it was a simple overnight stay to attend a local event. Room was compact but well organised and very clean. Checking in and out was quick and efficient. Creaky floorboards in the corridors! |

The Durley Dean has a good locationm, making it easier to get to the city centre by walking. Car parking, there was no where to park. |

Convenience to Bournemouth Town and the University. I was visiting my son who attends Bournemouth University. The single room I stayed in was ridiculously cramped. I needed to work and had difficulty getting the chair under the desk and sitting on it wedged between the bed. The shower is anemic - need power shower. The bar area is not an inviting area and needs revamping /closing off. |

The location was good 10 minute walk from the town and 2 minutes from the beach. Rooms are a bit small and cozy but can't complain the price was good |

Bedroom furnishings were new and modern. The quality of the breakfast was poor; lacked fresh ingredients and home-made food. The quality of the fittings in the bathroom was poor, the shower screen came off its runners. |

I liked the style of the hotel. So the money spent on renovation has been spent well so far I did not like that the room was like a hot box and there was nothing I could do to make it cooler! |

The refurbished bedrooms were very pleasant and the bar area also. The lift needed attention as the doors didn't close properly and got stuck on floors above. The food in restaurant was slightly overpriced and the service a bit slow when ordering drinks/coffees. |
