Location - food - public rooms. Bed not particularly comfortable and duvet much too heavy for this time of year considering hotel warm even with radiator off.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They took into consideration that we were young and there for the night life and to shop! And also made us feel extremely welcome after the 3 hour train journey and half an hour walk from the train station. We'd never been to Bournemouth before and they were excellent in giving tips! Was good value for money and was clean. Right by the beach and not far from the town etc. The bed had some stains on them and the towels, looked like fake tan more than anything! Floor boards on the 3rd floor were extremely creaky so when going between the two rooms which we had was never a quiet one. Also the fact the two rooms weren't as closed as we'd liked, however they were on the same floor and for the amount of time we actually spent in the rooms it didn't matter!

Location was the only good thing The bed was very uncomfortable and hard (not firm). When you had a shower it was either boiling or freezing, no good for children to use. We did'nt use the dinning room for dinner so cant comment on that.

The facilities and location were good a very comfortably furnished hotel. The food was not as good as other less expensive hotels I have stayed at. Something which you probably cannot control was the rudeness and language of some of your guests, especially when you have young teeanagers with you.

Child-friendly and children enjoyed the swimming pool. Buffet breakfast was a hit with the children. The room was spacious with adjacent rooms for the bunkbeds. Didn't feel at all cramped. The tea and coffee-making facilities and toiletries were a nice touch. Convenient location for beach.

Room was pretty large, with high ceilings. It was all reasonable for the price we paid for the room - nothing special, but comfortable enough. It would best suit people who are not staying long in the hotel, and simply looking for a place to sleep - central location (although so many hills in Bournemouth - be prepared!), close to the beach etc. Room was on the ground floor, and the windows opened up from the bottom - so room ended up being quite stuffy, and it was not possible to leave the windows open due to the fact that it was right off the public street, and the open windows were basically like open doors - but this was a problem for only ground floor occupants, there are many rooms upstairs so if this could be an issue for you, I'd recommend asking for a room upstairs.

I sent my parents and niece on a weekend break. Needed a secure nice place, within walking distance of everything. When they returned they were full off admiration for the staff. Very nice staff, even told my parents to come downstairs so they would not have to pay for the extra tea/coffee they wanted, just collect from the desk. Hotel was clean, not to busy, but enough life rather than a dingy hotel with no atmoshpere. Someone did knock at 12am one night, bar that no probs. Breakie for veggies is very poor, so decided to eat out. For £8.50 cereal and toast is rubbish. They do full english only really.

Good value and very clean throughout. I stayed in room 147 which is an executive which is recently refurbished. It was all very clean and the breakfast was nice with a good choice and the staff were all attentive an polite. Bed very comfortable Definitely go back to stay there... Just a quick note, I was in one of the Executive rooms which had a double sofa bed as extra for my daughter. I would say that the sofa bed was not the best as it rolled into the middle and if an adult stayed on it I would suggest it wouldnt be very comfortable.

On arrival was asked to give £40 deposit each incase we made noise, this was very insulting as I am a 34 year old female and was spoken to like a 16 year old, yet while staying at the hotel there was a male group who were acting like animals? Not recommended if you want to stay with friends
