The staff were generally pleasant and the public areas were good. The level of cleanliness was also good.

The room was unacceptable small. The door didn't shut well and so my husband I were awoken by other loud (and unpleasant) guests at 4.30 am. The window only opened about three inches and so the room was very hot and the pillows were the most uncomfortable I have slept on.

Close to the beach , very nice dining area , breakfast was fantastic . Reception staff very friendly and helpfull on arrival .

Room was a little small , extremely hot at night , asked for a fan but didnt hear back from anyone so left it but didnt sleep much .

Hotel has been modernised throughout to a high standard, just beautiful, great location, breakfast wonderful, highly recommended.

we went with our 13 month old son, and the hotel has alot of stairs, we tried to use the lift several times but it was very slow to arrive and when it did, it was more often than not occupied by hotel staff who did not make room for us or vacate so we could use it, even though we had a pushchair.

Well above the standard I have experienced in many UK hotels, good decorative order, very clean, indoor pool, friendly staff, long sandy beach, quiet location with easy walking to seafront and city centre

Food not very hot on first night but improved second night after some complaints, which seem to show good responsiveness to customer feedback. Quality of food generally very good. Wine prices too high, house red was about £16 but due to stock deficiencies on the first night cheapest red wine available was £25.

Hotel was very clean, staff were helpfull and breakfast was very nice. Also, there is a small gym and indoor swimming pool. It is 12-15 minites away from pier on food.

Staff were friendly, the breakfasts were good as was the dinner we had there. Close by the BIC where we needed to be.

Unfortunatley we thought we had ensured a twin room by phoning the hotel after booking on line but it wasn't the case ... we had a double. In the end it was not a problem for my friend and I and the staff were very helpful in trying to find another room and when that was not possible arranged some complimentary food.

Great location, very short walk to beach, room was really well appointed with LCD TV and very clean. Breakfast was lovely - loads of choice and was served until 10:30am.

Parking was a problem, car park was very small and we were unable to park near the hotel.

The location was perfect for the beach front and into the town. the room itself and bed was excellent. Due to the drawbacks I would not necessarily recommend it again, however, if the price was right I might consider it.

The room was extremely hot with poor ventilation. The windows faced into the central shaft overlooking AC no view at all which was a bit disappointing. The bar staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was pretty poor at 10.00 am not much left although breakfast times were until 10.30. The parking was a problem as there were only a few spaces which quickly filled up.

It was peaceful, well situated for both the beaches and the town and the staff were all very pleasant and helpful
