    Excellent breakfast. Value for money.

The room a little hot, a fan would have been a welcome addition.

Homely feeling. Historical feel. Nicely docorated. Pleasently received by owner. Clean. In a village.

Parking is a problem. Sound prrofing between the room we had and that next door wqs not that good. Breakfast was entirely a help yourself in the morning from top of a flight of stairs. Having said this the buffet breakfast was very good indeed.

Very quaint old property close to abbey, large (twin), very clean bedroom and bathroom. Very good self-serve continental breakfast that we could eat comfortably in our room. Friendly welcome. Onsite parking.

The soundproofing was not good (we could hear all the conversation from the room below).

The property was in a lovely village with a fantastic range of places to eat, suiting all pockets, within easy walking distance. The house was beautiful, full of character and the bedroom was large and comfortable.

    Nothing really,everything was excellent.

Not too keen on having to get my own breakfast but having said that there was plenty of choice available.

Really enjoyed my stay. Had a job interview in Ramsgate so stayed here for 3 nights with my girlfriend to get an idea of the surrounding area and it was ideal. Right next to the train station where it's 1 stop into Ramsgate and from there easy access to other locations like Broadstairs and Margate. The woman who owns Durlock Lodge was also a delight, very friendly and helpful. Overall a very nice place to stay for business of pleasure. Would highly recommend!

The property is in a quiet village with all amenities near including the railway station. The pubs are friendly and value for money. Durlock lodge is a great find to stay short term in Minster.

The location and easy access into the friendly village. The view of the Abbey from our bedroom window was lovely and the well kept gardens of Durlock Lodge with chickens and ducks was very nice set in peaceful surroundings. Owners were friendly and helpful and made us very welcome. The four poster bed was comfortable and room spotless.

As you walked across the room in our bedroom (Room1) the windows shook. We felt we had to tip-toe across the room!

Watching the chickens and ducks from our bedroom window, listening to birdsong. Comfortable bed and the room as a whole.

A guest in the next room arrived noisily around 10.30pm and was verbally then given instructions outside our room on how to access the continental breakfast.

The quiet location. The Lodge has several places to stay in and each looks fantastic. Most of the previous comments capture the good points especially the set up with breakfast. Friendly hosts made things very easy. Will no doubt return for longer next time Make sure you eat at the Corner House - Absolutely OUTSTANDING food and ambience

There wasn't anything we didn't like
