I always stay at Durrants because I feel very comfortable there. It is private, quiet, the staff is excellent, it is small, it is charming and dependable. |

The location was very good for a short stay as it was in the centre and business district of London. The room was cramped for two people plus baggage. |

My wife enjoyed our overnight stay and breakfast was excellent. The exterior of the hotel is very attractive and the staff were helpful and efficient. The room was comfortable and the bathroom spotless. The hotels situation is ideal for sightseeing and theatreland. There was a prolonged high pitched screaming noise at 03:00am which woke us up. My wife found the hotel to be noisey. There was no tea and coffee making facilities in the room, which is unusual. We both enjoy an ealy morning cuppa. |

breakfast was nice but guests were far too crammed in which made it uncomfortable yes - not very good value for money. Downstairs nice, with lots of character however, bedrooms were dated and bed was uncomfortable. |

Hotel is ideally situated just off Baker St and a short walk to Oxford st.Food was very good especially the hearty breakfast Being allocated a room on the ground floor with no air-conditioning it was somewhat noisy due to the need to keep the windows open |

The hotel was clean and rooms comfortable. Breakfast was not self service buffet style as many London hotels, so this made it feel more relaxed and special. Tea making facilities would have been nice to have |

The hotel is very well located. I particularly liked the dining room and found breakfast a pleasant experience with good and attentive service to the table, and good food. The concierge, his colleague and dining room staff were corteous and helpful which is why I would stay again at the hotel notwithstanding my negative comments which follow. I found it unusual for an hotel of this category to be asked for payment up front for the full stay upon arrival. Also the greeting on checking in was indifferent. The room was small and was located at the rear of the hotel with the only window facing a narrow gap between buildings annd this meant the room was very dark even on a bright day, always requiring artificial light. I would ask to avoid this room or similar ones when staying again (for any longer than an overnight). The bathroom was very small, but adequate. |

Location The atmosphere within the hotel and roofs was suffocating. We travelled as a family, but were given two rooms on two different floors. One with airconditioner and one without, despite charges being same. After lodging a complaint, one room was changed. Breakfast was simply bad - the eggs and toasts were burnt, choice was limited. We even skipped one breakfast |

The people(staff) were a joy. So polite and helpful but not intrusive. Nothing against the hotel, but with the US dollar so weak against the pound, it was not possible for us to try all that the hotel had to offer in terms of restaurants and the bar. Pity. |
