Very friendly staff.. room nice value for money
Shower very slow
I would tell anybody that requires accom in barlbrough area to use the Dusty Miller you can not fault this place for anything at all.
Good location, easy to find from the motorway. A few places to eat in the village. staff were friendly. Good breakfast.
Room and ensuite were very cold and there was nowhere to put clothes. Toilet was dirty. Sheets were specked with blood - like someone had cut themselves shaving. Only noticed when I got out of bed in the morning which was a nasty surprise.
It was perfect for our purpose of short stay one night, and the breakfast was lovely
liked the entertainment
room was cold and needed a refurb, had a plug in heater on all night
Bed Comfortable Clean All we needed
A Little small
Beer was good
Radiator was not working,so the room was below freezing when I had to use the bathroom at night.
Very welcoming comfortable rooms and lovely breakfast x
We could take our dog In fairness it was very cheap and had good parking
bed two was hairy smelly and not nice very small and the shower head was a bit bigger then a fifty pence piece. Not a fresh smell to small in the bathroom. Noisy traffic
The bar was fine
The room was dated and the shower room disgusting and the shower was cold
Food very good and reasonable. Beer well kept and reasonable price. The pub had a very friendly feel to it.
We liked it but if someone wants a quite stop they should ask if there is live entertainment on. The thing we disliked most was having to go home!
It is great to be accommodated in a pub and relax with a drink or two during the evening.
We thought we would be able to have a quiet time while in the pub but there was a live music concert which affected bedrooms as they are directly above the restaurant. The property should announce that these events take place during weekends (this was Saturday night).
good size, clean room. comfortable bed, great breakfast. friendly staff
Breakfast staff were very good.
On arrival we were told there was no food available, very disappointing.
I liked the welcome and the quiet location together with some local knowledge about the family that owns this business. The food and drink here is very good with quite a wide choice to suit all palates. Breakfast is also good.
There was nothing to dislike.
Good sleep , countryside setting
Shower not very good
Food and service at breakfast was superb. Great location.
Room was a bit cold, heating didn't come on in morning. WiFi was very poor, but didn't spoil stay.
All the staff were superb. From the time I walked in,to the time we left, the staff were so friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The food was excellent and the situation quiet. I would recommend it to anyone.
It was clean, had everything I needed, the staff were great & the location was ideal for me
Bed very comfortable
Shower could have been more powerful
Free parking. Easy access to room at all hours. Nice view from room.
Shower had no pressure, unless on "cold" Room to small for an easy chair, so two people have to share one chair, or sit on the bed. Flex not long enough on kettle. Floor boards noisy. Wifi would not connect.
Convenient for MI. Facilities for refreshments if needed. Cleaning and fresh towels provided.
Too restricted in room and en suite where there was nowhere to put anything down
friendly service, real ale, spaciousness, room with private facilities.
I had dinner and was not impressed with the chef - my bruschetta starter had far too much red onion and hardly any tomato. The plaice was ok but the new potatoes had been reheated and so had the frozen peas. Didn't expect haute cuisine and wasn't disappointed! I had a good full english breakfast but there was no choice. Some thought needed here.
Food waitress freindliness
a little disorganised on arrival
Good food and beer, and a friendly atmosphere.
