Duxford Lodge Hotel  

Modern decor in both bedroom and bathhroom. Friendly staff at reception and at breakfast.

On 2 mornings out of the 3 that I stayed it was necessary to leave the hot water tap turned on for 4-5 minutes before any water actually came out. During this time it could be heard "coughing & spluttering".

We stayed in a garden room, good size, lovely four poster bed. Had a delicious evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast the next day was just as good. Location is great for the Imperial War Museum.

Minor issue - couldn't pick up the wifi in our room.

A nice hotel with helpful, friendly staff. Had everything I needed for a nights work and lodging.

We travel with our dogs, which was why we choose the Duxford as our hotel for visiting Cambridge. It turned out to be the perfect choice for us. THey have nice, comfortable garden rooms at the back of the hotel. So you can drive up to the rooms, have the garden at your door step (and its so pretty) and the dogs are tramping up and down stairs bothering other guests. We'll be back! ps the best water pressure in the shower, it was heavenly

An excellent hotel, not blighted with road noise like some. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was extremely nice, facing the front of the hotel. Food was excellent, good value for money and lots of it. All in all a lovely place and we will probably go back as we had an enjoyable stay.

Paid extra for executive room, well worth it, just as in photograph on website. Warm and comfortable, good location for visit to Dusford Air Museum. Staff friendly and welcoming.

Floodlighting in grounds dazzling when leaving carpark, accident waiting to happen. Smell of over cooked vegetables off putting, didn't eat in restaurant.

Pleasant surroundings and no sounds of traffic. Peaceful atmosphere inside hotel. Staff seemed anxious to help. Waitress extremely good.

Convienent location

As a user of many hotels in my job as a Consultant I am always on the look out for good hotels and a resturant run by a chef that is always willing to try things new. The Duxford Lodge Hotel fits that category, the food was excellent. However, I was less impressed with the room I was allocated. Although clean, spacious and comfortable, it looked tired, and was not anything like the rooms shown on the web site. Which was disappointment. In the main it is a hotel that would use again.

Very close to Duxford Airfield to see the International War Museum. Great staff. Very good restaurant. Convenient to Cambridge and the surrounding tourist sites.

The whole experience was very good. No single thing could be described at "the best" I will definitely used The Duxford Lodge Hotel again.

Very quiet room, comfortable bed. The room overlooked a very nice garden.
