Paid extra for executive room, well worth it, just as in photograph on website. Warm and comfortable, good location for visit to Dusford Air Museum. Staff friendly and welcoming. Floodlighting in grounds dazzling when leaving carpark, accident waiting to happen. Smell of over cooked vegetables off putting, didn't eat in restaurant.

It was very comfortable although not luxurious. The staff were very friendly and the room was very warm, the bed comfortable and the food was great. It was a little antiquated and perhaps in need of a little restoration, either bringing back some of the the more traditional features which it seems to hark towards, or modernizing a little more which it also seems to hark towards.

The room was huge, comfortable and quiet. I didn't have an evening meal on this visit but the full English breakfast was substantial and well cooked. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I stayed in an Executive room that didn't have a shower! For business travellers, that is an essential!

Charming period property conveniently located for Duxford Air Museum (5 mins taxi £8) in a quiet residential setting. Warm welcome from Inga on reception who was also very helpful with directions, booking taxi etc. Room was one of their pleasant garden rooms (single storey ground floor extension overlooking courtyard garden) which was spacious and clean and included a lovely 4 poster bed, great breakfast too. Overall Duxford Lodge offers very good value for money and I would certainly return.

Our stay at Duxford Lodge was absolutely lovely! The hotel is very welcoming and there are little touches everywhere. The staff were more than brilliant, and had included an anniversary card and special dinner table for us which was so sweet of them! It is in the perfect location for Raf Duxford Imperial War Museum which we would highly recommend and the hotel as some memorabillia regarding raf Duxford to get us in the mood for our day out. The full english breakfast was excellent as was the dinner the night before. Thankyou for a brilliant stay!

We found the Hotel to be very Comfortable Clean and Friendly and we would stay again when we need to visit the Duxford area again. Just a small sugestion Bottled Water would be most helpful in the Hotel Room.

Privacy I only wanted a piece of chicken for my main meal in the evening. The only way of obtaining this was to buy the whole a la carte meal which was £15.95

As a user of many hotels in my job as a Consultant I am always on the look out for good hotels and a resturant run by a chef that is always willing to try things new. The Duxford Lodge Hotel fits that category, the food was excellent. However, I was less impressed with the room I was allocated. Although clean, spacious and comfortable, it looked tired, and was not anything like the rooms shown on the web site. Which was disappointment. In the main it is a hotel that would use again. Tired decoration in my allocated room, did not reflect the type of rooms shown on the website.

Have stayed here several times over the years and always enjoyed it. This time I had a room in the main part of the building (rather than the annexe). Room comfortable and spacious, there was a nice welcome from the staff and the breakfast was a 'proper' English cooked one!. Would certainly stay here again :-) The bathroom in the room I used could do with a little upgrading - but it was clean and everything worked!

The shower could not be kept at a constant temperature ad burned me the was freezing ! The breakfast was ok but the veggie sausages tasted like sawdust! The roomwas very small especially as it cost over a hundred pounds! I wouldn't recommend the hotel to friends, however the staff were very nice.
