The location I complained as I was charged an extra 5% for paying by credit card. This wasnt on the website or the confirmation email so only realised when I arrived.

It´s very located and confortable room, I booked for a normal studio and they gave me a small studio, when I saw the studio I went to the reception after 5m was already closed. the studio was worst than little, without space, to the window I needed to pass over my bed and to go to bed I needed to pass under the tv...very complicated! the photos you see in the site is false, I mean in 52 rooms they just show 3 nice rooms (for i.e.)and the rest are crap!

50£ more have been asked for the late check-in, plus 5% on the total amount if you pay with credit card (commissions?!?) and they ask money to leave luggage too. This should all be written in the tariffs! Plus, reception works only from 10am till 10pm but the day we needed no one appeared (till 10:30 at least, then we went away..). Apart from this, the area is nice, the hotel is quiet and tidy (but we still had a visit of a beetle in our room..). P.S.: rooms are smaller than showed in the pictures. Wouldn't have been so bad comment if one had known before!

The room is unbeliverably small and everything is in poor condition. "Self- catering" is also a joke. There is even no place to eat. More importantly, it is not cheap at all !! I still regret that I booked this so-called apartment and it was the biggest mistake I made for my London trip. If there is other choice, don't book this.

The staff was very friendly and kind, we could use the internet for free and the room was clean and tidy at all times. Although we booked the apartment with kitchenett, the room was too small. We couldn't even cook a proper meal, because there was no table or chair. The bathroom was too small as well, the noise from the people in the upper floors was horrible. At night we couldn't sleep properly and the windows in this building are quite bad, so there was always a cold breeze coming in.

Housekeeping was very friendly and has service-mind... Very nice. The room is way too small. This applies to shower room as well... Can barely stretch out hands during showering. One of the receptionists was way below standard.. Just no instinct.. Did not understand English!!!

I've stayed here one time before, and this time it was just as good. The location is excelent, just 5min from Bayswater metro station and Queensway metro station. Restaurantes and a lot of pubs close by. There is also a shopping mall, Whitelys. There's a fylly equipt kitchen with a fridge and micro, so you can easilly make food on the room if you are on a budget. The hotel is in a good nabourhood with a lot of small squares, and Kensington Gardens just a few min walk. Staff are nice and very helpfull with everything from changing lightballs late at night and showing you the way to wherever you wanna go. The rooms are quite small, and so are the bathrooms. But good for weekend stays. The bed was very hard.

Friendly service and recently updated room. We had to walk up 5 flights, not so bad though once the luggage made it up.

Very nice staff. Lots more space than expected (room 42). Fairly quiet. I think all the negative reviews here needs to take a reality check. Hotels in this area is very compact, you will not get a very big room, however this is reflected in the price. You pay for a clean room where you can sleep, shower and store your stuff. That is exactly what you get, and for me, it is very fair. I always pick a hotel in the Paddington/Bayswater area because it is very close to Oxford street/city centre and Hyde park, and they are very very cheap, but gives me what I need for a trip with friends or girlfriend. When I have kids, maybe I will have to look at other options due to space issues. Would like the option to eat breakfast at the hotel.

No lifts. Climbing up steep stairs can be hazardous with heavy luggage. They charge for luggage storage even for a few hours! Staff well trained in being high handed with lodgers when dealing with complaints. Internet service exorbitant and erratic quality on higher floors.

The location was terrific. We liked having a kitchenette for breakfasts in. Claudia, the housekeeper, was delightful and very thoughtful. Other staff were helpful. The rooms are too small. We were rather shocked at the tiny size for something purported to be apartments when they were smaller than most hotel rooms we have stayed in. We were depending on the free wi-fi and had an extremely slow connection in our 4th floor room, so we were moved to the basement, which was better, but then were told that the wi-fi was only free the first 24 hours and then went up to 10 pounds per day. This really angered us. However, as I look at their page on your site I see that this is advertised; it's just a bad policy. Also, the basement room only had a sky light, no window, which was claustrophobic and poor air circulation (no fan). We would not stay there again and will not recommend the Dylan Apartments.

Very nice location and price. At first we were at 42 room - very tiny room and kitchen right in bedroom. But next room was 51 - it was very very nice. Next time in London i'll be book this hotel and try to catch 51 room. Most rooms are very tiny.

I have appreciate according to my opinion traditional style of house where Hotel is situated. Room was clean and contain everything necesary. And the location was really excelent - few metres from Paddington railway station. Noise from neighbouring rooms - very thin walls. And one but small thing - í couldn´t reach reception before arrival (they didn´t answer phone and e-mail neither.

The location is great - quiet street, 10 min walking distance from delicate Middle East, Italian, Asian restaurants, 10 min Oxford Street, 5 min Hyde Park, 5 min Paddington Railway Station (connections to Heathrow), 5 min underground (Lancaster Gate, Paddington), 5 min Tesco market. Rooms very very clean. Kitchinette+refrigerator inside the room. Polite receptionist. Noisy technical equipment (air-condition unit above/next to top floor rooms). No elevator. Expensive wi-fi access. Weak tv signal. Payments with cards charged with extra fee. Very small rooms and tiny shower corner (fat people shouldn´t even think about small studio appartments). Receptionist had difficulties with return money availability if paid in cash. Landline was broken during arrival which made the trip a bit stressy 48 hrs before arrival - when receiving no reply from the hotel, no contact possible, within cancellation fee period already, moreover, if arrival in late hours is being planned.

It was clean, really First they tried to settle us in a basement room, where te only source of deay light was a tiny window in the ceiling, completely sealed s no fresh air could come. Second, the studios are indeed tiny cubicles where you can (and must) do everything while sittingon a small double bed, since there is barely space for anything else. Wi-Fi for 15 pounds?!! Lol, no, thanks, it's free at any cafe in town!

I have already book the hotel before I went there, but the assisstant there says have not recieved my booking, so there is no room for me. It already 10pm at that time, and we are so tired to find another hotel. Then the assisstant says there is only a triple room left, and want to charge me more than the price that I have seen on the imternet. After a very looong time of negociation, he give us that triple room. Ten minuts later, he knock our door and told us that he has recieved our booking, and want us moving to that room right now, but according to what he said, there is no empty room except the triple room. And he want us to leave right now because someone else book that room. We are so tired to argue with him, so we move to that room, the window is on the roof which can not be closed and it was raining outside at that time which is already 11:30. We told the assisstant but he just leave us. I write this to mention the tourists which after me, better choose another hotel.
