Score from 54 reviews Good
Nice clean sheets. Nice décor in bathroom. Good heating in rooms.
The room looks like it did 20-30 years ago. Some staff were not unhelpful but just didn't know how to talk to customers.
Location, atmosphere, staff
The bed was very uncomfortable, the front door handle fell off leaving us stuck outside, the electrics for the bathroom/shower were dodgy!
Noise from disco until 12.30am
Bar was not open and no food as both advertised owers dog was walking round as I don't like dogs and could not get back in the building after going outside as keys didn't work, owner was in the opposite room with door open watching tv with the dogs awful place
Made to feel very welcome by landlord and landlady and the most comfortable bed ever!
Food not available in the evenings and noisy due to evening function and customers leaving the premises late.
Tracey and Peter are mine hosts, both are extremely friendly, nothing is too much trouble. They are both very knowledgeable about the area and other facilities in the town. I'm working in the area and intend to stay there until my project is finished. The rooms are well furnished and well appointed.
Lovely big breakfast and relaxed feel Lovely staff
Wifi wasn't very strong so couldn't get a skype or FaceTime chat to work
Very good breakfast
Good Breakfast. Very helpfull and Friendly
The cleanliness of the bathroom and the bed. I spent a comfortable night.
The language of the young local people in the bar area. The card machine did not work.
Large dog's in side the hotel. Smoky odour throughout the rooms . very noisy

Late Satuday night disco.
Clean and smart room. Comfortable bed. Big breakfast with choice. Parking off street (though limited). Very good value for money.
Noisy on a Sat night untll midnight when the bar closed, then good nights sleep.
The only thing we liked about our stay was the room.
Shower poor.TV recrption poor signal kept breaking up. Very noisey in the evening with loud music etc from pub below. Advertised that they do evening meals but when we asked they are not doing them so after a long journey we had to go out again. were not ready for breakfast at time ahreed - had to go out and get milk!!!offrred us porridge then told us they had none. All in all not very good and to cap it all we got charged £120.00 for the 2 night stay when we thought we were paying only £96.00.

We were made to feel welcome and the breakfast was great, no hassle, just lovely
Genuine hospitality from all staff, generous breakfast, value for money. Lovely rooms!
Big Dogs! A little bit tatty in downstairs toilet, bar/restaurant area.
Friendliness from Peter and his staff. Breakfast was fantastic.
The location was ideal we have freinds who live in Potardawe and this was a stone throw Walk from their house. its located in the Centre of the town. Easy to find. The Staff were very friendly and accomodation. we had a late and heavy night at our friends so the Landlord allowed us a late check out and breakfast. The breakfast by the way was fantasic - Full Welsh fry up.
These's aren't want we didn't like but can understand it if this isn't for you. It is B&B pub so you have to understand that when you visit. some of the areas look a little tired but equally they are refurbishing them so this is not a complaint but just so you know what you are getting. This isn't a 5 star Luxury Hotel but it was fun and friendly. Again if you are looking to relax then go midweek as its very calm and peaceful in and around the town. We went on a Bank Holiday weekend so it was very lively and noisey as all the youngsters were in a party mood - so just join in ;-)
The place was dirty and not up to our standard he was doing repairs while we were there the Health and Standard should pay it a visit
