Totally fine, owner seemed alright, economic, clean
Can't complain for the money
Location was good
The rooms was horrible the bathroom was old and very un clean the bed was old and very un comfortable with the springs it really needs to shut and have a refurbishment .
very run down leaking roofs raining in .
We were lucky the weather was great would have hated to be stuck in there.mo the manager was lovely but the guest house is grubby and unloved.
Out of date grubby all the stairs we were on the top floor but good views but the stairs nearly finished me off
Leaving in the morning
Well where do I start….. Ok so my room cost £30 for a night to include breakfast found the hotel easy enough and from first impressions thought not very wheel chair friendly as they was a very steep incline on the steps up to the front door not that I’m disabled although I am still recovering from a fractured knee so this did not help, as soon as I waked in there was a damp musty smell but just thought that he may have been cooking some strange dish as the gentleman was of ethnic origin he gave me my keys and stated that my room was at the top of 3 flights of steep stairs, I thanked him and set off up the stairs if i had suitcases then this job would have been quite difficult as the stairs where about as wide as a fridge and there got more compact the further up you got. Eventually I had arrived at my room where upon inspection I found the door to be open so walked in.. No I Know what you are thinking…. it was empty I looked around the room and the smell hit me like a punch in the head, don’t get me wrong as an ex-soldier I have been used to slumming it but for a hotel that cost £30.00 you would expect a little comfort. Anyway I stepped into the bathroom and looked into the area the towel rail was loose and looked like it wouldn’t hold the towels, cracks in the ceiling, walls etc. the shower was out of the ark and I would not have used it any way due to it being full of mould around the edges a little bit of mould and mildew would have sorted this out the bed had hairs in it and they defo was not mine as I am bald and the sheets had seen better days all bubbly and thread bear the noise from the wind blowing through was horrendous and the floor board creaked very badly I managed to get about an hours sleep the I saw the light got up and left I was so disgusted I didn’t even want to eat there I was going to complain but I also had a train to catch and when I went down to reception I waited 5 minutes and no one came to my aid so left the key and went.
Location was brilliant
Wasn't clean, very dated, smelled funny
Wasn't very clean & had a dodgy smell
Staff were friendly and helpful, good price.
Could have been cleaner and the shower didn't work. Didn't effect our stay but definitely need to improve there cleanliness.
breakfast and company (Lorraine!)
no loo roll toiletries and expensive bar. Just needs a bit more attention to basics! Lorraine will sort this I am sure!
Close proximity of where we wanted.
Shower was not cleaned properly as razor head was near the plug plus hairs in the plughole, also found a few "dark" hairs on the bed sheet so we dint sleep on that,
Breakfast , very helpful ,
No towels or soap
The room was tiny, you could only watch BBC 1 as there was no control and you couldn't turn it over on the TV itself, it felt unclean and grubby, we didn't have the breakfast provided because of the cleanliness, tiles were broken and pushed up on the ceiling.
Location was fab, right on the promenade close to everything. Mo, the landlord was brilliant. Very friendly and helpful. We booked a twin room but was pleased to be told that there was a problem with our room and had been upgraded to a massive sea view room with a four poster bed. If it wasn't for the very rude idiots in the room next door, we would have have an amazing night at the Earlesway.
Unfortunately for us, we had extremely bad neighbours in the room next door. Not did the couple of next come in and have a full blown fight at 4 - 5am, they then proceeded to have very loud 'make-up sex' until about 7.30am - 8am. No amount of banging on the wall or shouting to keep the noise down was stopping them. All in all we managed around 45 mins sleep all night.
Dirty no parking would never go back. Had to book somewhere else to stay so unhappy
Staff were friendly.room was clean and comfy had drinks from bar breakfast was nice .very chilled out
Location was great :-) Mo was friendly and helpful x
The hotel wasn't very clean and it's smelt dirty. The rooms were dirty, black mould in the shower.every where was dusty , the front window need a good clean. If this place was cleaned up it would be a gold mine.
Manager was lovely and was chatty. Location was right on the front
Rooms a little outdated but that's all
Not clean, poor breakfast very dated
Good location. Cheap. Staff great
Had a lovely stay in the four poster room on the top floor. Great location for both day and night. Owner Mo is friendly and helpful. Great value for money.
Breakfast was a little early after a night on the town and I'd prefer check out to be nearer 12.
The staff and breakfast.
The rooms needed a good scrub and a lick of paint
the owner Mo was lovely made us feel right at home, even our little dog was welcome. great vfm would look to stay again next time we visit blackpool
