This historic coaching inn dates back to before the English Civil War. Just 3 miles from Banbury, there is a traditional bar, a restaurant and rooms with free Wi-Fi overlooking the village green.

The wide, tree-lined market place in Brackley, with its Georgian and Victorian houses and shops, is the delightful setting for this 13th century coaching inn.

Close to town
Poor night sleep due to staff noise, and room a both. Could hear the other guest talking. Breakfast was a hour slot so far to busy as all guess came at same time , ended up with no toast and no tea , so gave up the following morning.
Loved the quirkyness of the property. Room was lovely and clean. Could not fault the staff. Breakfast was delicious.
Location wasn't bad and town centre was within a 10 minute walk. The room, although very small, was reasonably decorated. There were sufficient towels and shampoo was provided.
Not terribly welcoming. Room was small and very cold - the 1st night I didn't sleep a wink despite using the small lightweight blanket provided, having had to go to bed in my clothes. The 2nd night I had purchased a hot water bottle but had to re-fill it during the night as it had gone cold and the room was freezing. The tea tray and cups were dirty and hadn't been washed since the previous occupant. Thin walls - I was disturbed by snoring guests in other rooms. Breakfasts were rather disorganised - no one was there to welcome you to the dining room or tell you where to sit. The waiting staff took ages to take your order and menus had to be shared between tables. I simply didn't feel like a valued guest.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming on our arrival. The building is very old but it was spotless in all the rooms that we went in. The house situated on the main road between Banbury and Oxford and to be honest we heard no traffic noise once we entered the house. Our bedroom was comfortable and again clean to a high standard. We shall be returning in the future.
Having to come home.
The staff was friendly and the place was very clean.
room to small, no bar,
Staff all very friendly and helpful bedroom comfortable and a good breakfast
The friendly welcome and the excellent breakfasts. It is an old building close to the centre of the town.
Our bedroom (no 2 ) on the ground floor needed a bit of spucing up. It was clean and had all the usual facilities and ameniteis. it just looked and felt a bit tired.
Allowed for a very late check in but didn't give information on the code for the door.
Never really meet the staff until checking out, but we're very friendly as we were leaving.
Staff was nice and friendly
However most of the facilities were available but I will not rate this hotel as 4 star.
Bed (confort) Restaurant Staff Charming of the house
WC flusher failure in room 5 Cleanliness of bedspread in room 5
Good welcome, dated rooms but clean and comfortable. Does the job.
Sat down for breakfast and no one acknowledged me for over 20mins so I then left.
Excellent location and everything you can wish for, make you feel at your own home. Breakfast is just superlative. Strongly recommended.
Nice room, evening meal and breakfast were very nice.
Not being able to eat slightly later on one of our nights, but this didn't spoil our stay
We had only planned an overnight stay and it was fine for that. Room was comfortable, dinner and breakfast were fine, surroundings were pleasant.
We thought it sought to be a higher level quaint English hotel, but didn't quite make it.
All staff were very friendly and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Room was clean and comfortable.
can't think of anything we did't like.
dirty blankets, filthy bathroom, unapproachable staff and unprofessional, breakfast buffet had stains and the full English look greasy.
Very lovely people and excellent breakfast...three days full of relax... Enjoying a full afternoon tea in the lounge area... Cool!
The rooms were very comfortable and cleaned immediately when the room was available. The breakfasts were excellent and so filling we never ate a lunch during our one week stay. The staff was second to none and were always accommodating especially, Debbie, the manager, Carol, who did everything, and the cleaning staff left the rooms impeccably clean.
The facility operates on ground/well water, like most B&B's. There was heavy water usage one morning because of all the rooms had been booked. Unfortunately my wife was stuck in the shower when the water turned off. That was NOT good.
99% was very good Staff friendly and helpful Bed comfortable Quiet Good parking and free Lashings of hot water
Smell of cooking grease throughout the building
Could walk into Banbury. Waitresses friendly
Management did not appear to be interested in accommodating a gluten free diet. Seemed more take it or leave it than warm and welcoming
bathroom cramped, bedroom small, no bath, not open until 4pm
excellent place to stay friendly staff good service excellent food and good breakfast excellent value for money thanks again
Easington Guest House was set in lovely gardens. It is clean and comfortable and has everything you need for an overnights stay.
Old world charm of building with modern facilities. I was poorly for most of my stay and i was looked after as if in my own home. Bathroom was excellent and easy to keep clean when i had made it dirty through my illness. Would go again without a thought. Quiet area even though on main road with town just down the road.
We were recommended to eat at the pickled ploughman pub by the manager Debbie, menu was in the hotel info book. It looked fantastic. Food turned out to be horrible, not the same menu as we saw, just cheap pub grub. Cost us £17 for taxi there and back for food we couldn't,eat! Don,t go to this pub, it's overpriced rubbish.
