Owners were extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. House and surroundings were idyllic. Room was better than expected, large bed and all the amenities we could need. Beautiful breakfast with all fresh produce including eggs, sausages, orange juice and jam. Beautiful :)
Wifi was down when we arrived as there was a temporary problem with the connection- couldn't be helped and was actually quite nice to escape the internet!!
A welcoming B and B, Very clean with nice decor. Excellent choice at breakfast. Fresh eggs and home made conserves!
Friendly and welcoming- comfortable room, excellent breakfast, and Sean provided under cover storage for our bicycles in their garage.
the owners were very welcoming the breakfast was very good and to be honest for the price there is nothing not to like
The cockerel (only joking)
Great location lovely place very clean staff friendly and helpful great rooms
Nothing to dislike top quality
Clean and tidy room. Good breakfast Good value for money
Hard mattress No shaving light and poor bedside reading light.
nice place, breakfast was very good, friendly staff
bed and shower weren't the best
Excellent breakfasts - good quality B& B in a location that suited us very well - easy access to lots of places. Very welcoming
Clean quite comfortable,
Not being able to open window in room due to heavy growth of ivy outside and the insects within it. Having to leave my car in the road whilst I opened and closed the gate to enter the drive to park. I thought it dangerous even though the owners said it was a very quiet road. I just felt it was not quite safe and would have preferred it if I could have just driven in. I know the gate must be kept closed to keep the chickens which have freedom to roam safe inside.
A warm welcome from Sean, comfortable room and bed, plenty of brochures about local attractions and fantastic breakfasts. Very good value and we would stay again.
That it is in a quiet pretty village but you can walk to the pub which served lovely food (the 7 Stars). Our reason to stay there is that we wanted to visit Monkey World & the Tank museum & both were a short drive away.
Comfy clean cosy and quiet , good breakfast nice tea/coffee etc in room. All good quality fixtures and fittings Nice staff
No pressure in shower, no summer sheets on bed, no ac, but it was exceptionally hot . loose Barky dogs in garden.
The location, garden and cleanliness. And the breakfast, which was excellent.
"value" coil mattress - hard and uncomfortable. No Decaffienated coffee or tea. They did not have any.
the location was good for us as we specifically went there for Monkey World which was only 2 miles away.
The breakfast was the highlight of the day. And Shaun (the owner) was most welcoming.
If don't like to walk you might find it a tad off.
Excellent breakfast and friendly hosts
Excellent accommodation and breakfast.
Not being able to stay longer!
Very friendly and hospitable. Very helpful. Great breakfast. Nice location.
Excellent setting well decorated close to all the sights very comfortable just keep doing what you doing Good luck!
Everything: unforgettable breakfast , lovely room : it seems to be in the old England but with the nowadays confort
Breakfast was good. In a nice setting peaceful but pubs for food in walking distance.
Bed linen , fitted sheet didn't really fit the bed. Plumbing was not satisfactory toilet difficult to flush & took forever to refil. Shower was poor pressure not refreshing.
Warm and welcoming staff, excellent fresh breakfast served to the table. Good, clean and spacious rooms. Cosy, relaxing stay.
It's a bit far from Wool station - you could walk with a backpack, but I had trouble wheeling my heavy luggage all the way.
A warm and friendly place to stay. AND very good value for money.
