Really good quality comfortable hotel. Would have like longer to enjoy the spa and leisure facilities

We had a very good meal the service was great and the views over the countryside room was great with great views and restful

The golfing partys in the bar were well into the 19 th hole, (I know what do you expect it's got a big golf club)

the location and room was nice, quiet and peaceful,

staff seemed to be unhappy, not much smiling going on, i have stayed here before and the staff have changed all new faces and didnt smile, tried to joke with reception on check and i gave up.

The whole hotel was spacious and light, including the bedroom. The staff were welcoming and helpful, easy parking and a great breakfast. A very comfortable bed!

The facilities were excellent and the rooms spacious and well equipped. The spa was great; the gym was well equipped and teh pool excellent. The bar food prices were very reasonable considering a 4 star hotel.

Loud golfers "on tour" although I suspect it's an occupational hazard at a "golf and spa hotel".

The hotel was very stylish ,friendly and comfortable . We had a meal in the restaurant which was lovely, the waitress was very friendly and made sure our evening was a good one. We had a lovely room and the views from our window and balcony were beautiful. Would recommend hotel to family and friends. Thank you for a lovely weekend .

It was so quiet, very clean and staff very professional. Loved the spa facilities/health club. If we had more time my husband would have liked to play golf. Breakfast was also excellent.

The steam room wasn't working - but to keep the hotel as clean and well presented we understand that this needs updating/maintaining etc but was a shame. My husband ordered room service and it took over an hour to arrive - by which time I'd fallen asleep!!!!!

Disappointed that there were no movie channels on the TV as the weather was awful!

Service, cleanliness, food and facilities all superb. Reception area which incorporates the lounge/bar a bit soulless and echoed.

We were staying for our anniversary and my wife's birthday. I e-mailed the hotel in advance and asked if they would consider an upgrade. To our delight we were given a suite when we had paid for a club room. This is excellent service (although the hotel did seem to be very quiet). The suite was colossal and very well appointed, and so was superb value for the £130 I paid. The hotel is modern and quite grandiose. The staff were pleasant. My wife used the pool facilities and found them excellent and luxurious. The breakfast was very good. Unfortunately I was unable to use the golf facilities.

We went down for breakfast at 09:35 (breakfast until 10:00 on Sundays). We went through a double door into the dining room and there was no one to meet us or check our room number. So we just sat down and helped ourselves. We could have just walked in off the street and had a huge breakfast for nothing. No member of staff asked if we were hotel guests throughout our breakfast. Our table was missing items such as milk, sugar, condiments and sauces, so we had to take these off another table.

Staff were very welcoming.The hotel is lovely plenty of space,We used the pool and sauna both great. We ate in the hotel againa lovely meal

The room rate was high, mitigated by the reasonable prices of incidentals.

Beautiful location close to family & Glyndebourne Opera House. Pleasant friendly efficient staff, no queues at check in/out. Great spa lovely decor & relaxing atmosphere

Limited tv channels Poor tv & mobile phone reception - maximum sound in -audible on some tv channels. Breakfast nice but toast either cold & hard or absent when needed to complement eggs, tomatoes etc partly as it was laid flat on plate instead of placed in rack to Improve crispness - I suggest introducing toasters for guests to make their own toast.

location -away from the hustle of modern city life

stay was too short to see any dislikes. however think check out time too early. Also check in time a bit late as we had to wander around a bit just to kill time so as not to arrive too early

The hotel restaurant the rooms and especially the lovely golf courses!

Very impressed with this hotel. Comfortable, spacious, clean, light and airy and with fantastic views from our room across to the South Downs. Staff were without exception very friendly and helpful. Pool, gym, sauna and steam room facilities excellent. We chose not to try any spa treatments but could have booked Saturday for Sunday morning, which was great in terms of availability. The leisure facilities were open until 10pm on the Friday night too which was a bonus. Due to location you can't really walk to any local pubs but we knew this when booking. On both nights we chose to eat in the bar and found the food good and very reasonably priced.

To improve the hotel further, only thing we could think of is that it would be good to have a separate lounge area as an alternative to the bar-- the reception does have seats but not somewhere you'd want to sit for any length of time.

We were impressed with the whole set up,which led to a nice relaxing weekend.

The only problem I had was in the week prior to arrival trying to get hold of the spa and after leaving a number of messages no one came back to me. On the other hand a query i had with the reception the lady who said she would ring me back the following day with the answer did so.

Very comfortable room with a good bathroom. Restaurant was quiet when I stayed but the food was very well prepared. A very pleasant overnight stop.

Only one very slight moan was the very poor espresso coffee - not worth having but I was not charged and in the end, had ordinary black coffee instead which was fine.

Excellent facilities with friendly and helpful staff.Rooms are clean and tidy and buffet breakfast is delicious.The whole stay was superb.
