Breakfast was excellent .
Stayed in lower room in courtyard , able to hear every footstep on squeaky floorboards in room above. Room in need of a freshen up with decor.
i liked the fact you had your own apartment , the staff were warm and friendly, good service and felt very welcome when we arrived
they was nothing i didnt like
Clean room, comfortable bed. Staff friendly and helpful.
Decorations 'tired', but you get what you pay for.
The staff were excellent, when the heating in our original room needed attention they could not do enough to help. An alternative upgrade was offered immediately. Rooms comfortable, food very good and staff attentive what more do you need.
Nothing to dislike at all.
got moved to the cottage large and comphy well equipt for self catering though we had breakfast in the hotel
none only no iced water with breakfast
staff very friendly and helpful
central heating radiator was not working in the bedroom although a portable heater was provided but not as cosy had the radiator worked. Also your staff booked a taxi for us to arrive at 7.10 pm which it did but we were only in the taxi for less than a 3 mile journey and the taxi firm charged us £11.00.Dont think many of your guests would appreciate being charged that amount of money for such a short journey.
Great location and within walking distance to village pub for meals etc. Rooms probably could do with up grading but for the price we paid, £95 for a double room for 2 nights bed and breakfast, we could not complain at all. Staff were also very friendly and welcoming, so if you're looking for something cheap and cheerful, in a good location, we would highly recommend.
Good location for wedding venue.
Missed breakfast should serve for longer.
Very attentive and plesent service nothing too much trouble
Nothing bad to say very enjoyable stay
Comfy bed and a lovely breakfast Would like to stay in main building next time
The place is good food room etc Very clean inside god value for the money & it is VERY quiet
Oh a terrible outside staircase without a light that really needs sorting out
We only stayed one night and arrived late in the evening and left early in the morning so didn't use the bar & lounge or try have breakfast. The lady a reception was very welcoming and the room was lovely.
Only issue was that our room was above the bar so a little noisy until that closed.
Food was good and relaxed atmosphere in. Plenty of space in our room. A good base for exploring along the coast. Excellent helpful staff who dealt with any queries straight away.
Noisy floorboards above us. Halogen light outside made our room bright at night - is it really needed as there are other lights outside? Wi-Fi inconsistent. Chairs are a bit dated (one had a big tear in it!). Heating went off on the day we booked out.
The two young ladies that worked there seemed very nice and friendly.
We left feeling really disappointed there were things at breakfast that were not available through them running out and we were only told once the late was put in front of us. The room was OK clean enough for a one night stay, however the walls were so paper thin that we could hear everyone else in there rooms so had a terrible nights sleep. Was glad to leave..... Sorry!!!
Staff were very friendly, hotel main building very nice
The bed was very uncomfortable. We had a ground floor room and the noise from above was terrible
The breakfast was amazing!! The room very comfortable and clean. Tea, coffee, little toiletries delighted my daughter. Good sized room. Public areas, lounge and dining room to a high standard. Pictures on the internet do not do it justice. Will most definitely visit again and highly recommend to others.
Not a bad experience... Wi-Fi connection is poor but it's a good time to switch off and spend time with family, so it is possibly not a bad thing.
Very comfortable bed, friendly staff and good food
Noisy floor in room above us - very creaky floorboards.
The young waitress staff in the bar and maturer lady serving breakfast were friendly and my evening meal of the gourmet burger was gorgeous. I also liked the fresh flower displays on the tables.
The hotel lacks a sense of finish. The decor is dated and standard of painting and wallpapering is very poor( we hope no one paid). The shower in bedroom 8 was very poor and the shower curtain awful
we liked everything about the the lodge couldnt fault it. the staff were very friendly and helpful and the meals were spot on, would stay again.
excellent views friendly relaxing staff recommend you stay and enjoy surrounding
Comfortable room, warm welcome, helpful staff. Food in the evening was excellent wood fire in bar was a real boon
Not a problem but WiFi in the room was a bit dodgey, worked well in the bar though and plenty of room on the tables to work.
Clean and nice breakfast
Staff very friendly, food really good quality and nice, peaceful location.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was quite large and comfortable. There was a problem with the heating but it was fixed immediately.Food good and reasonably priced
