Eastbourne Centre  

I loved the large single bedroom with the amazing view of the pier and sea plus having my own balcony. I also liked the modern design of the room and loved the public rooms

Had wished the hot food at the buffet breakfast could have been at least warmer

Excellent single rooms,size,position, value and facilities. Quiet even though well sited on seafront

Had yet another really comfortable stay. It is always spotless as as a solo female traveler always feel safe

we like the hotel and its situation. Its fresh and new and modern

I became bored with the buffet evening meal. The king size bed was a disappointment as it was obvious it was two beds bolted together and it was very hard and made me ache

Loved the balcony overlooking the beach. Nice clean room. Lovely full cooked breakfast in the morning. Staff arranged taxi for me.

A little dated but that's the style of the building so quite retro really.

The rooms are exceptionally comfortable and the staff are superb. I enjoy returning to the Hotel.

Staff were very friendly. all areas were very comfortble to sit and relax. Designated smoking areas were a very good idea

Maybe a small fridge could be put in to the larger rooms

Excellent service.Staff friendly and helpfull.My last 3 stays there were for 6,11 and 7 nights in premium balcony single rooms (412,606,608) all of which were nice,clean and offered very nice views. Internet service was convenient and breakfast was excellent.

Nothing to dislike.

Excellent service. I arrived at 10pm after being on the road since 5am & the staff could not have been more helpful. My room was upgraded and very luxurious. What I saw of the facilities were of the same high quality. Would love to return, but next time I'll make sure it's not a business trip, so I can stay for longer.

I'm happy to say that there was not really anything to dislike.

We loved the close proximity to the beach. Lying on your bed watching the waves and having a private balcony to hear the sea in the morning and last thing at night. Staff were very friendly and helpful and it was a quiet, clam hotel. the room we stayed in was a premium balcony double on the 6th floor with amazing views! Really want to come back and stay, having never visited Eastbourne before and we would choose this hotel again without hesitation, lovely.

We didn't dislike anything. The hotel externally isn't attractive but its so different inside. An alarm clock would have been handy and a little table for the balcony would have been nice.

Room size balconies and cleanliness

Lounge areas seemed lifeless as if it was a retirement home with no residents !!!

We liked how clean everything was. Our room had tea making and iron/ironing board in before we had to ask for it. Comfy bed with crisp linen. Bathroom/shower very good, clean and modern, lots of towels, and good toiletries. Breakfast was 5 star standard. Staff were friendly but not overbearingly so. It was excellent.

There was nothing I didn't like about the hotel itself. Perhaps the main entrance for check-in should be made more prominent when viewed from outside on arrival. There are what look like entrances on each corner and we walked in the wrong direction initially. Pedestrian crossing would be nice as would parking spaces from which it were easier to reverse out from on the busy street. Not really a complaint as I booked at the very last minute and I feel I paid a slightly higher than usual rate.

It was absolutely amazing,the spanish receptionist was a little bit cold but the hotel itself was great!Lovely room with sea view and great breakfast!

Excellent staff. refurbishment is good. Simple and reasonably priced. comfortable relaxing areas. Excellent support for my disabled mother.

We loved the fact that the room had a balcony. The room was also decorated with a luxury feel and not too old fashioned. The layout of the hotel is great. Good services on offer. Food was really good and at reasonable prices. The selection and service at breakfast was fantastic. Parking was convenient and cheap at £1 a day!

We got a deal on the room and so probably couldn't have justified the normal room rate per night.
