Everything, Martin and Marina could not do enough for us. Breakfast was as excellent as last year and the rooms are very comfortable with everything you could need. Will definitely be coming back next year, you really feel at home.

Good room ,bed ,shower.breakfast We booked this B.B. because it offered parking though this was limited and not on site. The check in t hrough intercom was very impersonable and we had to help Japanese guests that did not understand. Breakfast rigid times of 8.30 _9.15 far too limited..We did book superia room but felt that it was over priced.

Very frienly Martin & Marina made us very welcome. Room very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was brilliant Chris being vegetarian was well pleased with alternative menu I capitalised by having her meat portion. Keep it up Martin & Marina. Would certainly recomend Eastbourne Guest House

We stayed in room 10 which is accessed by a separate exterior door. We thought this was extremely convenient and quite quirky. Access to the main building was possible either through the main front door or an internal door which is unlocked at breakfast time. Martin was a friendy host and stuck to the principle of no kids which was what attracted us to this establishment. The bedroom was comfy and the bathroom well appointed with quality fittings. We thought everything was well thought out for the convenience and comfort of the guests. Breakfast was served at 8.30 and offered a mix of buffet style for fruit and cereals then plenty of choice on the served cooked breakfast. In all we felt that nothing was too much trouble for the "hands on" hosts. Not a complaint as such but we did make a suggestion to the owner about the position of the TV in room 10 as it was sited above the head of the bed so only visible from the seating area and he explained this was due to health and safety reasons which we totally appreciate, he added that he was considering reviewing this.

Although the owner Martin could not meet us personally on arrival we spoke to him via his intercom connection. The room was made up even though we arrived early and we were made welcome. An excellent quality Breakfast was served between 8.30 & 9.15 and Martin was there to offer his personal touch. A choice of small, medium or large breakfast english breakfast. Martin has a wealth of information on places to go in the Lake District. We enjoyed our stay and would definatley book again. Glyn & Kreasha Davies, Room 4

The location was perfect as it was only minutes away from everything you need. I liked how the lady just gave us our keys and gave us some info on how to get to places and let us get it on with it. our room was very small and felt extermly cramped. The breakfast only ran from 8.30 to 9.15am - this didnt give us much time and also doesnt allow for any 'lie in' time. I asked for a vegetarian breakfast when we went down for our breakfast which in turn had the man went to far in explaining I should have informed them of this before. I felt very embarrased by the lengthy lecture about this. If i thought it would have been a problem I wouldnt have asked. It was so much so that I didnt even want to go down the next day. I did not mean to put them out and would not have meant to inconvience them in any way. This did put a dampner on this as it is nice to relax having your breakfast on your holidays but i just wanted to go asap.

The room was great. Nice and big and very clean. Also there was a place to park (although it was very limited in space). I felt that because I am a young adult, I wasn't spoken to properly. When I asked a few simple questions, I was put down as if I had done wrong. Very patronising, but the staff are otherwise very friendly, if you don't ask too many questions.

We really enjoyed our time at Eastbourne. We were extremely well looked after and Martin very kindly accommodated by boyfriend's healthy appetite by offering him a larger than normal breakfast! The location was perfect for us - nice and quiet yet within a very short walking distance of the centre of Bowness. We were also very happy with our room and hope to return later in the year.

We loved the space we had in our room. Martin and his staff were very friendly and helpful. We felt welcome and Martin was a mine of information. The breakfast was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. It was a much needed break and we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. We will definately be going back.

Martin the owner was very welcoming and friendly, the breakfasts were lovely and served very quickly. The guest house was in a quiet position but had easy access to the town, all bars and eating places in easy walking distance. Most importantly for me, our room was spotlessly clean, the bed was massive, and so comfortable. Those 1500 springs are well worth the money!!! Thanks Martin

The location is good, very convenient, with parking readily available. The quality of the accommodation, given the price, was good, the bed comfortable and the en-suite facilities very good indeed. The breakfasts were excellent, nicely cooked with plenty to eat. The general level of service was very good, but the overall impression of the guest house was spoiled slightly by the attitude of one of the staff, which could only be described as surly and offhand. Other than this, I have no complaints.
