would have been even better if had a great view (on 2nd floor) but not an issue, on a really pretty street.

Spacious bedroom, with lovely décor. Excellent en suite. Excellent choice of food for breakfast. We felt very welcome and that guest comfort was of great importance.

Good location in Bowness which is preferable to Windermere. Being on the ground floor. Breakfasts were hearty and served promptly.

Having to communicate with the owner by phone especially with poor Vodafone connection as he didn't live on-site. Power outage in our room and no way to directly speak with the owner. P.R. skills of on-site staff need developing.

The hosts were wonderful, the location is fantastic for exploring Windermere, the accomodation is clean and comfortable and reasonably priced!..... And the breakfast was awesome!

The room was spacious and clean, power shower was lovely. I loved salmon sandwich for breakfast. Location is nice, close to the lake. Parking is available, owners are very friendly and were always there to help. Thank you all.

Friendly, clean, quiet, but easy walk to town center

Very comfortable, close to town good host.

Room 1 is spacious and has a large comfortable bed with spotless white bedding. The bathroom is very clean with a large fully enclosed shower. The choice of breakfasts is good and the full English breakfast is well presented and tasty. Plenty of tea/coffee and toast is provided. One parking space is provided for each bedroom.

The on-off switches to the bedside lamps are partway along cables and as one is behind the headboard, it is not easy to find or use. The position/height of a small shelf in the en-suite meant that we needed to be careful not to bump our heads when using the washbasin!

Eastbourne was located an easy 10 min walk to the town center for shopping and food. It was also located a 10 min walk to the extensive footpath network in the area.

The mattress in the bed was a little tired.

Large room with large, comfortable bed. Central location plenty of restaurants nearby.

Nothing really it was only adequate.

The attitude of the staff especially the wife of the owner she was very loud and rude and upset many of the guests at breakfast time. On arrival it is not very pleasant to be welcomed by an intercom system and then 5 or 10 minutes later someone arrives to see if you are ok. Although the room was adequate for one night we couldn't have stayed any longer as there was very little storage space.

Well located for the lake & local pubs/restaurants. Good parking facilities. Well presented room/en suite. Nice breakfast.

Paid extra for a Superior Suite that was situated right next to reception. Curtains were very thin & let in lots of light in the morning.
