Limited parking available and on street parking near by but you have to find a space. The shower was too high and we would have preferred a shower tray. Waste bins needed to be nearer the tea facility. It would have been nice to have a teapot at breakfast time and a receptacle for tea bags!!

Amanda the owner could not have been any more helpful. Lovely welcome, showed to our room. Told where everything was. We asked for not too many stairs and were given a ground floor room. The breakfasts were superb, so much to choose from!! Clean, plenty of towels, shampoo etc. Comfortable, easy going. Just 100 yards from the seafront. Nothing was too much bother. Nice bed, TV, plenty of hot water, hostess tray. We enjoyed our stay very much. No complaints whatever. There was nothing we disliked.

The managers were really helpful especially with having a small tot along with us. They really listen to what you need. The adjoining room is a really helpful situation. The downstairs lounge was smart and it was all tidy but as I knew from previous reviews the decor in the bedroom was rather tired looking.

Room was fine, clean and adequate facilities. Never met the owners as they were not there when we arrived and had made arrangements for us to get in. Food was disappointing especially as it proudly advertised a 'best breakfast award in 2009', it was luke warm, and lacking in flavour, no sign of mushrooms and granary bread as advertised. Cheap products used for yoghurts.

The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. The rooms were not as described. The rooms were outdated and were not that clean and one of the bedroom doors creaked. The family room was not as advertised - rather than being a twin room and single room connected by a door, it was one room (with only one en suite) with a third bed partially blocked off by a wall.

I was spoilt as I was a solo stayer and upgraded to a family room at no extra cost. The rooms were clean and really comfortable with really good heating as night was very cold. Bathroom clean with excellent shower with plenty of hot water. Breakfast really nice with variety and freshly cooked to order. Just what I needed to relax for a busy working weekend. One little moan that the bathroom window didn't close and it was a little chilly. Toilet paper not the softest either!!!!
