Very clean overall Huge fluffy bath towels Modern bathroom (amazing shower) also good hairdryer with different temps Breakfast was delicious (especially the huge mushroom!) Spacious parking.
Kettle was a bit wonky, not sure if it actually got to boiling point (but hot enough to make tea). Bathroom door needs a hook. We lived on the top floor and there was this loud scraping/knocking sound on the roof at 3am (probably a little animal) which lasted about 30 minutes, not sure if owner can do anything to prevent it though.
Very friendly, good room and ensuite. Friendly village pub just 10 minute walk with excellent food and chatty regulars.
Virtually everything. Located on a main road but still quiet. Walking distance to friendly, local pub. Good-quality freshly-cooked breakfast. Comfortable and clean bedroom (No.2). Good parking area. Excellent staff. Reasonably priced.
A very warm reception and caring staff throughout to match the excellent facilities.
Tina our host was amazing!!!! The whole experience was very relaxing with amazing breakfast in the morning. As we were there for an interview at Exeter uni, this was a perfect place to relax and prep. Will defo go there and it's highly recommendable.
Very comfortable room. Delicious breakfast ... fruit salad lovely! Tina very helpful. Thank you x
Friendly reception and comfortable room which was quiet so that I could work in the evening.
Heavy traffic getting in to Exeter but this happens everywhere these days!
Super breakfast, lovely and quiet surroundings, friendly owner, and there is a fantastic pub 5 mins walk away in the village which serves great Ale and excellent food - Highly recomended.
The breakfast was wonderful; about ten different pieces of fresh fruit in the fruit salad, cereal bars and of course, the usual cooked. The location was brilliant for stopping overnight on the way to Cornwall and the local pub did delicious food at a very reasonable price.
Tina was delightful on check in and it was definitely my sort of place. All the little extra's which mount out to a lot like Juice, chocs, free breakfast and biscuits. Would defo stay again
If I was gonna be picky I would say that Tina did seem a bit rushed at breakfast time.
Lovely large room. Room 3. Great en-suite. Superb breakfast, one of the best. Ample parking.
Owner was a little cool at times. Did not feel particularly welcomed. Do not think it is personal, just a brisk, efficient manner but did not feel particularly comfortable. Shame as everything else is extremely good.
Polite informative hosts.excellent room lovely breakfast and a comfortable bed.powerful hot shower. Great value for money and very clean accommodation.
A minor complaint being that i would have appreciated a small shelf in the shower to put my soap and shampoo. i reiterate a complaint barely worth mentioning
Could not get wifi to work - but didn't persist - I am sure they would have helped if I had asked!
Lovely room with lots of carefully thought out items. (Water, juice, chocolate, bars.) Sumptuous breakfast!
The owner was very polite and helpful. The room was lovely, the towels were huge and fluffy. Breakfast was delicious and the fruit salad was so nice.
Lovely little touches like the water and juice in the room...even hot chocolate in the tea and coffee making selection. Access to the garden straight from the room, large, light windows. En suite a good size. Lovely host who did an excellent breakfast to order in a great breakfast room.
Some light from the corridor (under the door) meant the room was not as dark as some may like!
Good size room and bathroom. Good toiletries and decent shower
Breakfast room very quite when in there alone would have liked some background music or news
Spacious comfortable room, facilities excellent & lovely breakfast served in conservatory. would recommend highly.
Very friendly and welcoming as you arrive, room and en suite were lovely, biscuits and chocolates included on tea tray and enough milk coffee and tea bags for a few cups. Breakfast was lovely, could not fault this guest house. Don't know if I will tell friends as they might book before me next time and I don't get in.
Could not find anything I did not like.
The home is quiet and comfortable and garden environment is peaceful. Rooms are well appointed if a little tight on space. Beautiful fresh fruit salad with breakfast.
Loose stone in car park area at the front makes wheeling suitcases difficult. Lack of marked parking means disorderly parking.
Good size, comfortable room and excellent breakfast. Easy parking and convenient location.
Very warm when we stayed so needed windows open. We were aware of background noise from the main road.
Excellent breakfast, lovely view from very spacious room (No.3), large clean bathroom with plenty of hot water. Complimentary chocolate, water and juice in the room much appreciated. Very hospitable host (Tina) - we'll be back!
Our bed was a on the soft side, but this could just be personal taste.
Room opening on to garden
