Lovely hotel. Lots of character, reasonable prices and close to amenities, clean and child friendly
had to pay before seeing the room. Bed was like a brick, rooms were dark, stuffed animals everywhere. We were told 'don't stay here but I'm not giving you your money back'. Dark upsetting pictures on the walls. Wouldn't stay there
bed was very comfy
the shower room was very small and shared with other rooms
the price and location
having to pay for parking onsite
Comfortable room, friendly people couldn't do enough for you. Quiet despite being close to tower.
Would have been nice to have had en suite though was a toilet next door
Very helpful and friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble.
No one bothered you, helpful with parking. Adequate for a cheap couple of nights away.
Not fair to grumble about anything for the price we paid.
The friendliness of the owners
Friendly and welcoming
Very good value for money
The only thing we liked was the location + they allowed us to check in early.
The rooms were dirty the shower had black mould around it. The kettle was dirty inside + the rooms were small + very uncomfortable. It was very noisy + alot of things were held up by wooden blocks. We had to change rooms when we got there because the window was broke + that room was dirty also. We wasnt offered clean towels or clean bedding. We wouldnt stay here again + will not reccomend it to anybody else. Noone was there on checkout I rang the bells but had no answer.
This is a family run hotel and they couldn't do enough for us very friendly the room was clean and fresh not the most modern of furniture but very comfortable location is fantastic we were 2 mins walk from blackpool tower. There isn't any breakfast available but there is plenty of places to eat at the end of the road we would stay here again
The family run business was run well, friendly welcome.excellent for north pier
Beds were comfortable, room was clean
Rooms were a little small, and dated.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the location of this b&b is brilliant and close to all attractions
To small room
The location was close to where visiting.
The room was dusty and did not have a clean feel. The ensuite also needed cleaning around the toilet. The room was cold and there was no heating, the bed was not comfortable. The shared bathroom adjoined the bedroom and you could hear other guests using it. It was pointless having an ensuite room on top of a shared bathroom. Parking was charged for and although the car was secure as the gates were locked, the proprietor complained when we needed to use our car. Did not feel welcome and did not sleep well. A passing comment from the proprietor "People come here and expect the Ritz". No I expect cleanliness and friendliness as a minimum.
Room was very comfortable, the owner was very nice to us.
Close to Blackpool Tower
Basic amenities Surrounding area a bit rough
Very accommodating and friendly owners. Great value for money, great central location. When visiting Blackpool I will be booking here again.
Some of the decorating and ornaments may not to be everyone's taste but it adds to it's quirkiness
Checking out time, and parking for a fee of £5.00 and he wouldnt confirm this until we arrived, Im guessing case he had people staying longer.
The fact told lies when booking. I asked if this was an ensuite, owner phoned me to speak rather than emailing and I suspect now it was because he didnt want to put anything in writing, so there was no ensuite so had a shared bathroom although assured this was not shared, entered the toliet in morning to find vomit all in the bathroom, couldnt shower as the shower was covered in black mildew, also the towels they provided were smelly, not a double this was a small double(bed was the most uncomfortable bed slept in, fire alarm went off and we werent told if everything was alright to go back in, Also was meant to have tea/coffee making facilities there was 1 cup no kettle and some loose teabags and coffee, dont know how this owner makes tea or coffee, when challenging the owner he couldnt have cared less, you pay cash when you arrive here and you will have no chance to get it back, We hear many a customer complaining about the beds and the rooms werent what they paid for. DO NOT BOOK THIS IF YOU WANT TO SLEEP OR SHOWER. Thank goodness we went to a much better hotel the second n third night,
Nice location and clean and decent property
Room quite small and had to ask for towel change as room not serviced at all in our 3 night stay
Location was great, right by the tower.the owner was lovely and let me keep my car in his secure driveway for the afternoon after we'd checked out.this was very helpful indeed! The room was clean and comfortable and great for an overnight stay for just me and my little one.for the price I cannot grumble at all, will definitely be staying here again! We didn't have breakfast here so cannot comment, however it was offered to us despite not booking in which I thought was nice.
The whole experience was wonderful.
Friendly staff excellent location clean good value for money
Small bed some maintenance issues
