Location was very good, right in the heart of the city with easy parking

Nothing, maybe try and do some deals, the rooms were a bit pricey for what you got, if they isw a ression, it be worth while doing some great offers, rather then having emty rooms at the weekend

croissant is awesome! My friend and I will definitely come back here if we have a chance to come to Oxford because of the croissant.

The location.

We were a bit alarmed that Mercure charges for WiFi. The bathroom was pretty ordinary. Basically felt that the hotel was lacking in value for money - but from prior research we quickly worked out it's not cheap anyway to stay in Oxford, so can see why it's overpriced. Would only recommend this hotel for its location.

The quiet; the proximity to the older Oxford colleges; the courtesy of the staff, both at Reception and in the restaurant; the variety of the restaurant menu; the discrete interior decor and sign-posting; the car-parking capacity. The Manageress (although hard to locate) amended my booking whilst crediting half of the pre-paid charge: she was not legally obliged to do so.

The plumbing was third rate and the central heating was hard to regulate. The TV offered no films. All the prices were high. In the evening no one was willing to deputize for the Manager.

The staff were friendly and efficient. As car parking is so difficult in Oxford, the fact that the hotel has its own car park which has reasonable charges was an advantage.

The "de luxe" "spacious" room with a "city view" was an ordinary room with a view of the car park at the back of the hotel. I haven't felt so ripped off in years. The guys at reception couldn't care less, no one offered to carry our luggage, no lift, footprints on the carpet, the room was hot and stuffy as the window would only open a couple of inches, and the bed too soft.

Easy access to all Oxford attractions, yet in a quiet location. Very comfortable rooms.

This is a simple, attractive hotel, ideally located to Oxford Center. You can walk to everything. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. We had to leave some bags for someone else to pick uo and they were wonderful about letting us do so. No extra charges. We would recommend this highly.

Very good value for money with easy walking distance to shops etc. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. We will be definately returning in the near future. We are a mature couple
