fantastic location, we will stay again.
The room was a little shabby.
Location, friendly and helpful staff.Good breakfast choice.
Room poor value with faults, light bulbs not working,TV not working.Bathroom shabby, old fashioned, and NO hot water,(told due to work men.)Sadly I wouldn't recommend staying here unless being in the centre is important, and the Randolf's full! PS steep steps to entrance.Very small hand rails.
Location was very good
cost in relation to condition of the tired bedroom and corridors, the bar/restaurant was bright and fresh
Friendly and helpful staff made a wintry stay a real pleasure; central location made sightseeing very easy; all round a pleasant stay in the heart of Oxford.
Location Free wifi Size of room Amenities
The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable. The hotel itself is very nice and the room was really comfortable and cosy, but not exactly big!
Parking in the car park was "interesting!" Never come across parking arrangements like that but it was more amusing than frustrating.
Staff were very very good
The only thing that I was not impressed with was that when you put food and drinks on your room bill you didn't get a copy for your self l think if you were staying a long time this could cause problems when you came to pay as you would not have a clue what you had spent
The location and parking facility. Friendly atmosphere Quiet rooms Good Wi-Fi Special offer room rate during January
Internet Location Breakfast Staff were brilliant
Bathroom Shower Access to the room No minibar
Location and friendly staff. Helpful with problems. Good breakfast.
Temperature in bedrooms was too high. View over carpark not great, but it was quiet. Admin around buying drinks was tiresome.
Located a short walk from the centre of Oxford. Helpful and friendly staff. Yes, needs some refurbishment done but a good standard for an older property. Had a very comfortable 2 night stay here. Good choice for breakfast. Parking area restricted but staff very helpful with parking.
Would stay again, nothing in particular to dislike.
Stained towels/ bedding, No bedside lighting, Broken towel hook, poor TV channel choices.
Excellent location and comfortable room with large bathroom
Road was rather noisy though was double glazed.
room, bed, wifi
abience of the hotel, comfort scal for cost was very good at the rate I paid
just a small problem with the condition of the door furniture of the bathroom, I don't think a door handle should come off in your hand from the inside of a bathroom, good job it fitted back on and was able to get out...
Great bathroom, cozy reading lounge/bar.
a very good location on the High Street. nice helpful staff. tasty breakfast - despite costing £15!
stayed in room 202 - could do with smartening up a bit. the bathroom looked a bit tatty, grouting on the side of the bath looks a bit grotty. net curtains at window look in need of a wash. minibar under the tv was empty and there were limited supplies for making a cup of tea, etc. I just felt the room should have been a bit smarter & welcoming for the price I paid.
the staff were so friendly, And could not do any more to make your stay any more pleasant. The food was excellent.
I was in a new refurbished room in the new part of the building, the room itself was lovely, decor and bathroom all excellent and and bed very comfortable. Staff very friendly.
Although the room was excellent it was a ground floor room which looked out over the carpark so when I opened the curtains I was faced with the view of a white van, luckily I was there in December so any time I was in the room the curtains were closed however I wouldn't like this room in the summer. Staff have suggested that I could request a different room on my next stay and I look forward to the refurbishment of the rest of the rooms
Small size; good location; comfortable rooms. My Oxford hotel of choice.
Would welcome a full business centre with PCs for guest use - but absence of this wouldn't stop me stayiing again.
We were moved to a different room on complaining about the disco in the restaurant below us at 10.45pm.
No lift Shoddy room decor No towel rail Smelly towels Poor soundproofing Stuffy room
Location Friendly staff Ease of check-in/out
Breakfast and parking were seperate costs despite the room rate being so high. The pillows were useless! There was a constant humming sound in the room. Not a major deal but the quality of the toliet tissue was very poor given how much was charged for the room.
Location Decor Room size Bar staff very good
Lack of warmth shown by reception Car parking palaver
