Eastleigh Hotel  

Both the hotel and its location were great. I have never been to Skegness and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was immaculate and small with 8 rooms. this was ideal for my wife and I, we had breakfast every day which was lovely too. Gary and Claire and their family ran the hotel with total professionalism, having time in their day to assist you with whatever you required. We found out they had sold the business and were moving on. We just hope the new owners could do as good a job.

The only thing if anything was that the hotel was right near the sea front and the night life that comes with it. However they had installed good double glazing which stopped a lot of the noise. However I could foresee a slight problem on a hot night if you want to open the window and can't due to noise problem

plenty of roadside parking, excellent central location, very friendly and welcoming hosts as well as the other guests. a homely b&b with some very nice touches. superb breakfast with wide choice, very good value.

We loved everything from the warm welcome to the luxurious rooms to the delicious breakfast only thing we did not like was leaving :-(

the room did not match the advertised facilities description, I had booked this "hotel" specifically because it stated it had air conditioning and a fan, I even repeated the need for a fan in the special requirements. Not only was this not provided but the owner just shrugged his shoulders when I pointed this out and made no apology for the fact that his advert was wrong and he hadn't even read our booking details. The shower in the room did not have any hot water at all, the bed was uncomfortable and not even big enough for an average height man, my husband had to try to sleep with his feet sticking out the end of the bed. The room included a fridge which made a racket all night, as well as the infuriating flashing light from the faulty smoke alarm all night, making it even harder to get to sleep. In the dining room we were shoved into a small corner table, organised in such a way that only half the table was space for us to try to eat. Extremely uncomfortable, would not recommend and not at all as advertised

Brilliant breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff. Great value for money & great location.

Broken sleep a couple of times due to being able to hear a lot of noise from upstairs from the room we were in (stay in a first floor room)

The couple that run the hotel are excellent nothing is too much of a problem. Little extras like DVD'S on a shelf for you to watch etc. Fabulous breakfasts.

I liked it all very warm welcome when we got there nice and clean room plenty of space and very nice food in the morning to start your day of with and plenty of it as well and would stay here again

There was nothing I didn't like

Everything about the hotel was well thought out with so much attention to detail. Provided everything you. Could need, including umbrellas. Room very well stocked for tea and coffee so no asking for more. So clean and the owners were fantastic.

Eastleigh was clean, comfortable, close to beach; staff were fab and so was the breakfast!!

we had a very friendly welcome from gary , the hotel was very clean and centre to the main resort , the room was very clean and comfortable it had everything in the room you needed such as towels tea/coffee ,hair straghtners and a mini bar in the room ,would deffo go again ,

very friendly relaxed atsmophere, very clean and lovely breakfast in what was a very nice dining erea. will be booking again on next visit to skegness.
