Eastwell Manor Hotel is an impressive building overlooking beautiful lawns and set in quiet surroundings. It features 2 restaurants, a bar, a gym and 2 spas. The rooms are set in Eastwell Mews, some beautiful cottages converted from original Victorian stables and situated in the grounds of the Manor. The Manor restaurant serves French and modern English cuisine prepared using the best local produce while the Pavilion Restaurant and Bar offers a more informal atmosphere. The Pavilion leisure and spa is impressively decorated and its facilities include a 22-yard heated pool, a jacuzzi, a steam room and sauna. Guests can also enjoy Dreams Spa, a fully-equipped gym and various outdoor facilities such as a tennis court and another pool. The Manor has kept some original features such as carved paneled rooms and massive baronial stone fireplaces. Hotel Rooms: 62

Good spa facilities. GOOD BREAKFAST. PICTURESQUE LOCATION We were on a romantic break to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday and we were angry when we discovered fully what shared accommodation really meant (we were sharing a cottage which had two bedrooms and a sitting room/kitchenette that that was designed for absolute strangers to have to share) this should have been made clearer by yourselves when booking and as such we will not be using this hotel again and I will be extra vigilant with my bookings in future as this totally ruined the experience.

We loved staying in the Mews House, it was very comfortable. The grounds were lovely and the swimming pool and gym were brilliant. We thought the Manor restaurant was very over-priced and very gloomy. The food there was good - what there was of it - but would definitely prefer to use the other eaterie on site.

The whole setting and the surroundings were fantastic and on arrival we were greeted very prompt and staff were polite they spoke abit fast to be able to understand them properly but they gave us a map and we found out the rest ourselves. Where we stayed was so so tranquil and private and most of all quiet which we loved, our room was so so nice aswell it had everything you needed for a nice comforting stay away there was not a thing that was left out from a womans point of view. We was closely situated next to the spa and pool which was fantastic for us being as that was the main reason why I booked up eastwell manor it was clean, quiet, spaceious and just so perfect for what I was wanting for total relaxation for both my husband and myself. The cosy feel of all the coal and log fires, the decor and the feel of being able to relax in sheer luxury if you wanted it.

We stayed at Eastwell manor for a joint celebration of my husbands 40th birthday and our wedding anniversary. It was fantastic- our room was in the main house and was gorgeous , we used a number of the facilities from the outdoor pool to the gym and indoor pool and spa.The staff were fantastic and the dinning room staff were wonderful. We really were made to feel very special. We were a little shocked when we had a drink in the bar after dinner at the prices. But for a special occasion and all the other benefits this was not a detracting factor.

Enjoying the old building, ambiance and spa Starting to look a bit dated and in need of a make-over in places - looks like money hasn't been spent on upkeep for a while. It looks like it has been spent on the golf course instead; but I don't play golf!

The pool and spa facilities were top notch and it is really nice to have such a large pool within a hotel. The room we stayed in was clean and quiet at the time of our stay. The location of the hotel is lovely, there is no traffic noise as hotel is set in its own grounds well away from the road. The manor house restauraunt is a wonderful place to eat with lots of character and very relaxed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Although not used the gym facitities seemed to be pretty comprehensive and in good order. We have stayed here before and would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again. This was a short break as we only live about twenty mins away! Not really a complaint but were unable to book lunch in the manor house due to late booking(not hotels fault) so had lunch in the Pavillion. We found that the background noise and music was overpowering to the point where it was difficult to talk.I think this is a problem with a lot of restaurants but could possibly be made better with sound absorbing materials. The noise level was probably made worse as this was Sunday lunch time so was full,a lot quieter in evening.Breakfast in the manor house was a LOT more pleasurable. A little bit of mold on grout on bottom tiles of shower. (Please note that these were only minor and did not really effect our stay).

We loved the location, it was stunning and attractive. The surroundings are all of natural beauty, history and leisure. We would definitely go again as we couldn't do all the activities but thoroughly enjoyed the Opera evening in the Pavillion and the beautiful mews cottage that we had all to ourselves. This was our 25th anniversary treat. We rang the hotel to ask about the cottages and mentioned that it was our anniversary, which she said she had made a note of. It would have been a very personal touch if there was some acknowledgement in the room congratualting us or welcoming us on this special occasion. It would have made us feel very special. I was very disappointed as I had a long chat with the receptionist who said she would note it down. This was missing and we felt like regular guests.

This is a great hotel. The only thing negative i can say about is is that unfortunately the cottage we stayed in was only superficially clean. A lot of dust in the typical places that are a bit harder to reach. It is not what you would expect from such a great hotel.

not a lot Knowing the area having lived there i was really disapointed. For the price we paid for a one nights stay in a double room shouldnt be two single beds pushed together with a double sheet over the top. The Risotto in the spa was supposed to have parmesan which you couldnt taste but more worringly looked like a pile of slop as did the scrambled egg at breakfast. Overall really disappointed with the food and have stayed in better travelodges for a fraction of the price.

We felt very comfortable at Eastwell Manor. The welcome, on our arrival, was second to none and the porter who showed us to our room could not have been more helpful. We were given a choice of rooms which was much appreciated. All the staff were cheerful and made us feel at home. That was the best part of our stay. No Hair Dryer!

The setting, sense of history in Manor House, plus open log fires and grand rooms. Poor service in the bar, and length of time waiting to go into restaurant for pre-booked dinner.

I took my sister, mum and daughter there for a special treat. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The manor itself is very traditional with old school comfort. We had drinks in a beautiful lounge bar complete with open fires. The grounds are magnificent and although the rooms are a little tired in places it almost added to the charm. The dinner in the manor restaurant was good value for money, professional staff and cosy atmosphere. I can't wait to go again. Oh and we had full use of the Spa the following day which added to the good value.
