“The rooms were big, we got a lot more for the money than we expected. Everything was clean. It was just what we wanted and more, and for a very reasonable price!”

Booking for ensuite and 8 days gave me the surprise bonus of a studio apartment. Awesome! No reasonable way to iron my business shirts. Fortunately, since location was perfect, there were many dry cleaners near by.

The friendly reception was a good start after walk in pouring rain from the station. I had selected Collin House due to it being in a side street away from Victoria Station, as I'm a light sleeper. On arrival, I was told I had been upgraded to a studio and given a map to find it. Having just walked up from the station in the pouring rain with suitcase and bags, I then trundled back to a ground floor room very close to Victoria Station and busy road. It was basic but okay, though no mirror near a plug to dry hair was one negative, plus the shower being stuck on too hot for me but nothing compared to the rumble every few minutes, not just the noise but the whole room shook! I realised it must be the Underground and happened every time a tube went by. I was late for an event so had to get ready and go. Sleep was not an option whilst the Underground was running... Late into the night and very, very early started again in the morning. Do not ever fall for the 'upgrade' to that place, unless you can sleep through anything!

Don't be fooled, this is not a hotel! The bathroom is a shower cubicle with a toilet & not outside the room it's 2 floors away & cold & dirty. The staff were rude and there are hidden charges unless you pay cash. There is no lift so be prepared for hauling your bags up 7 flights of stairs. The room was dirty, the lights didn't work, extension sockets with bare wires positioned next to a grubby kettle of water. We booked a double & single bed but got creaky bunk beds instead in a room with no heating and inadequate bedding. £69 for a triple room with no breakfast, what a cheek not even worth half of that! Ruined our theatre trip, we won't be fooled again. Avoid unless you are desperate.

The location is the best! It is about 2 minute walk from the Victoria station and about 5 minute walk to the Westminster Abbey and the Big Ben as well as to the Buckingham palace. The room is little but comfy with a little kitchen (no stove). The room looked like it was just refitted with new furniture and decorations. The bathroom looked great too! I would definitely stay here again if I would go to London again! The bathroom is missing a floor heating. This was a basement level room so it was little bit cold from the floor but nothing that would spoil my stay.

It was near to the under ground station, just five minutes walking beside it was a lot of cafes and 2 halal restaurants The room was supposed to have five persons, but it was too small and there wasn't any space to put our baggage and it can only be used for maximum 3 persons

We are a family of 5 with 3 young children (ages 9, 7 and 4). This hotel was fabulous value for money for a one night stopover in a good location in London. The beds were very comfortable and clean, there was a Freeview TV, coffee and tea making facilities, a table and chairs for breakfast, a sink and a fridge. We loved the location, it was a really nice road, well lit and we felt really safe with the kids even late at night. It was wonderful to have an ensuite, it was perfectly adequate for our needs for a one night stay but it could've done with a little improvement. The shower was rather poor and the ensuite itself in need of improvement but when paying these prices we didn't expect anything more, perfectly fine for a short stay.

Excellent location, very cute street. The hotel staff was very nice. The room was ok. We have to pay for everything in extra : wifi (5£ in cash ?!), leaving luggage the last day (2£ per bag), adapter, ... The mattress was not very good, we can feel every springs.

The location is somewhat misleading: They have several suites in various buildings. I was in suite 2b which was actually two blocks *closer* to Buckinham Palace than the main building. I was expecting a bedroom with a small bathroom, the suite I got was more like a bachelor pad with a kitchenette, a washing machine and plenty of space. Not enough space for kids, but plenty for a couple!

The only thing I liked is the location They gave us the worst room ever. A stinky basement 2 floors away from the bathroom, smelly, cold, dirty and totally disappointing.

This hotel is probably the best you can get for £41 pp/pn, which says a lot about how expensive the area is. The room is clean and the bed is relatively comfortable. There is a kettle, wardrobe, and sink. The stairs ae very narrow. The rooms are very close together so you can hear people in other rooms and that may keep you awake. There is no lift. There is only 1 bathroom and shower between however many people are living in the dorms. The room is very small.
