The staff at reception, on our entrance ,where quite busy but dropped everything to help and assist us. We were very impressed with the room ,the facilities,the service throughout and the breakfast(especially at the discounted price of the whole deal),and would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to anyone who wanted to stay in this lovely part of the country

Friendly, clean, welcoming. Advertised on booking.com as smoking rooms but apparently not the case. Firstly this was themain reason for booking, secondly I would still stay again. Constructive critism - erect a three sided smokers corner for the smokers amongst us.

Its convenience and availability of a meal. The railway could be disturbing if you slept in one of the rooms adjacent to it. In the summer, it would be pleasant to have better landscaping around the outdoor area.

Price included a free buffet breakfast and with 2 teenagers was a god send as they eat for a army, room was very clean and had some neat touches like the blue low lights in the bathroom great when you dont wont a bright light in your face at 5 am or to wake any one up, but you can put the main light on when washing etc,staff were great and very helpfull,and they will order take aways for you and provide plates etc and you can eat it in there dinning area,saves the mess in the room

It was clean comfortable and good value. Nice touches like body & hair wash available in the bathroom & an offer to supply anything we may have forgotten. The pillows.... one was too little two was too much!

Staff very helpful and friendly. rooms very clean and in good condition. Seating and bar area clean, tidy and relaxing especially with the friendly and helpful staff. Breakfasts done to a good standard. overall the hotel is run to a very high standard. We were staying at the Holiday Inn to attend an event in the area. Our stay was very enjoyable. Everything was to a high standard.

The staff were very helpful and cheerful at all times. A very simple and good hotel located at a good location away from the town. Good environment for a family with kids and breakfast was simple but adequate and enjoyable. Free internet available from the room or anywhere in the hotel. Sofa bed requested was made available immediately and was comfortable.Would recommend fully. None. Everything was up to satisfaction.

The cleanliness and facilities in the room were excellent, even the sofa bed was already made up for our son which was a blessing after a long hot journey. The food in the restaurant was very good although a more variable evening menu would have been more welcome. There were only about 8 choices of dinner and no puddings.This was a little pricey but we expected this as we were on a bypass junction with no other eating facilities nearby. Breakfast however, was very good with plenty of choice.
