Easy walking distance to most areas. Staff friendly and gave advice on where to visit. Twin room was a double bed and a small child size bed not suitable for a parent & young adult on a weekend away. Ok for 1 night.

City centre location. Ideal location for city sight seeing and surrounding locations.city of bath close by,also cheddar gorge, weston supermare and many other locations close at hand. Cross the severn in to south wales and see the wonders of the severn bridges. Very limited parking, only 21 spaces in car park to rear @ £6.00 per 24 hours. If going out for day, better parking in adjacent car park @ £2.50 for overnight stay. Staff will only tell you this if you question parking.

Its location, close to railway station and walking distance to the harbour area and restaurants. We had rooms on a floor with smoking rooms and the place stank of stale smoke, even our no smoking room.

The location close to city centre & Rail station, open top bus & airport bus was great.Staff very pleasant & place very clean We requested a room with twin beds, when we arrived the room had 1xdouble &1xsmall single which might have been ok for a young person but the single was not really suitable for an adult, it was too narrow and low

This hotel is convenient for the Train station and Shuttle bus to the airport - saving money on a Taxi. Every member of staff we met were courteous and very helpful, even at 4.15am as we left for the airport. Perfect for a stopover.

We were very happy with our stay at Holiday Inn Express because it is very central to the city, being just a short walk away. We were on a visit to see our daughter as she is studying in Bristol. The hotel is very clean and the staff were really helpful. The only thing we missed was a small fridge in the room especially because my husband is diabetic and needs to keep his needles in a fridge.

Hospitality of staff. Although I missed my breakfast, instead of saying I was late they offered hot coffee and continental breakfast.

It was near to the Deal or no Deal set. The breakfast started early at 6.30am and was a small set up but lovely. The Chinese lady on reception was very friendly and helpful.

Easy to find, good location, clean & fresh through-out. Breakfast & staff were excellent. Hardly slept, as every noise outside you could here, birds singing at 2.50am, refuse collection 5am, cars from 6am as glass is so thin on windows. Also room had a compartment right by bed that was for all wasted from flushing toilets on all floors to pass through, so incase of blockage they could access easily. So you can imagine the noise every time a toilet was flushed on each floor. Staff on checking out have said they would pass on my complaint, have also advised head office.

I thought the Holiday Inn Express Bristol City Centre was excellent value for money. I travelled to Bristol by train so the hotel was perfectly situated. The room was clean and tidy, the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was plentiful. I was in Bristol for a meeting and was able to leave my suitcase at the hotel for collection later, which was extremely helpful. The hotel met my needs and I would certainly stay there again when I next visit Bristol. My one comment (and only a very minor one as this would not effect everyone!) was that the lighting in the bathroom could have been a little brighter which would have helped when applying make up. No other comments.
