The room furniture was very basic. Not enough drawers and hangers. The price was too high compared to other and better Hotels in the same area. The breakfast was very poor, not enough choice. Rhubarb yogourt not somethin I eat all the time. For the price a full breakfast would have been reasonable. There is no restaurant facilities. No entertainment and no gym or fitness or pool. |

Relatively inexpensive for a city and you could book just one night. Noisy and cold and they did not get our heating sorted. I did not like the area |

Room very clean and quiet. Double glazing was very effective at keeping the room quiet from the busy street. Breakfast room was understaffed on sunday morning causing visible stress for the only waitress and lots of tables left uncleared for a long time. This was not good. |

A relaxing value hotel ideal for our requirements. Staff were great, particularly Darren Jones. Location was ideal for theatre and onward travel to London. |

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was so close to the station so I didn't have to get taxis in and out of town with luggage, yet town was close enough to walk to. |

Close to railway station, good breakfast, friendly staff, ice machine, excellent shower, good quality of fixtures and fittings. I needed fresh air at night but opening the window produced huge traffic noise ALL NIGHT! |

Staff were friendly and efficient and the room while small was very comfortable, clean and had everything you could need for a one nighter or weekend stay. Fantastic location for the station. The only thing to note was that there was a wall lampshade missing in our room that had not been replaced - no way of knowing how long that had been like that. Also, as breakfast didn't start until 6.30 a.m. we did not have time to have the complimentary breakfast before leaving to catch our train back home/to get to work on Monday morning - for business travellers it might be more convenient to start at 6.00 a.m |

good location very near train station, but that is about it. oh yeah, an ice machine. my room was smoking when not requested. as i was on a smoking floor there were others smoking and in the morning my room and i stank of it. breakfast was very basic. there is no evening food. it's a bit of a trek to get into the city itself. none of the above mattered too much for a one night work stay, but £95 is overpriced. |

Staff were friendly and willing to help as best they could. Breakfast tables kept cleared and cleaned. Room cleaning high standard. not immediately obvious how much internet connection would cost or how to access it. Not impressed that had to go back down to reception to collect iron and board. |

It was clean, efficient, very convenient to train & bus stations.Access to lifts made it very user friendly as my wife has reduced mobility as found the hotel very easy to get around. Last call for breakfast a little early for holiday break.Athmosphere in lounge/bar a bit lifeless at night. |

Convenience - excellent location next to station and a walk to the city centry We were in room 508 . the bathroom smelt terrible - really damp.If we had been staying for longer than 1 night, I would have demanded a room change and complained |

The location was very handy for train travellers and only a short walk to tourist and shopping. The breakfast facilities were excellent. I found that the reception staff were generally ill informed and were only able to answer even the most basic local knowledge questions after referring to the internet. One male receptionist, when questioned if I could get a particular train (local) from the Temple Meads station actually replied " yes, I think that is quite near here". It was actually in sight of the reception desk. I was also charged quite a lot more at the end of my stay than advised at check in and was advised that someone had made a mistake but that I must pay the higher amount!!! Unfortunately I had a train to catch and could not afford the time to argue my case. I will follow this up once I receive my credit card statement, |

The location was very convenient, being just across the road from the main railway station. The helpfulness and good local knowledge of the reception staff was appreciated. There was an unpleasant smell coming up the drain of the wash-basin in the en-suite bathroom of my room! It is a pity that there is no restaurant in the hotel for evening meals; most of the nearby restaurants are closed on Sunday evenings. |
