Location was good - very central. Room a little small but clean and well appointed. Shower was excellent. Room was quiet considering city centre location. Breakfast was good with sufficient variety. |

Clean, neat & convenient to the city centre. Staff were reasonably friendly, breakfast was acceptable and I was quite happy with the hotel on the whole. However, as it happened, some electrical equipments I touched during my short stay didn't work (or didn't work properly): the TV, the kettle, the hairdryer. |

Value for money (because the rate was very low; for a triple room we payed 49 GBP). The room looks very good, the beds are very comfortable, everything is ok. The continental breakfast, though plenty (as much as you want), has no meat. A lot of sweets and stuff, which are not enough for a full nice breakfast. But again, this depends on the rate. For our rate, it was more than ok. |

Location, opposite Playhouse as we had show booked. Shopping centre and Princes St and Ross St close by. Compaired to other Hotels we thought it was very expensive for one nights stay with only a continental breakfast. We stayed at the Ramada Jarvis in Central Glasgow 2 weeks earlier for 2 nights b&b + evening meal for £20 less. |

Great location which is within walking distance of all major attractions in Edinburgh. Very good value for money and of a higher standard than other hotels nearby with a similar star rating. Continental breakfast is good and is on between 6.30 and 10.30 at weekends. Avoid going at around 10am, which seems to be the busiest time and there is nowhere near enough space for people to move in the self-service area when it is busy. Go early! |
