Holiday Inn Express Inverness  

Our only dealings with the hotel were via the staff at the desk but they were all excellent - could not fault our stay there.

Meal in the Snowgoose restaurant next door was a shambles but that was not the fault of hie and to be fair the Snowgoose sorted it out very well too. Only problem is that there is not a choice of eating establishments unless you drive

The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly

Having booked this at the last minute I had little expectation that they would be able to accommodate my request for a twin room for my 84 year old mother and myself, which was either a disabled accessible room or close to lift. I was delighted to be given a ground floor twin room close to reception and dining room, with a shower that she could step into rather than being over a bath as many hotels are. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was of a higher standard than I expected. Congratulations for having heated croissants

Friendliness of the staff, cleanliness, great breakfast, proximity to the city, comfortableness of the room - especially the bed! the quietness of the ambience.

It was lovely an clean, warm and price was great as got weekend special of £54 for two nights. Delighted with the excellent service for this price will certainly stay again.

Would have been good to link by path to cinema behind.

Although I booked twin/double room it was 2 single beds which is not ideal for man and wife

The price, the room was perfect in fact this room was far superior versus the premier inn, location ok, the lounge area very good. Staff were nice.

The reception was friendly and helpful despite the fact that we arrived early, that saved us going into town and coming back out. The room had everything included that we required and was well presented. On returning from the evening Panto performance the bar staff were friendly and a nightcap was no problem. Breakfast in the morning was ample and also well presented. It was convenient to have the Restaurant nearby. It has also plenty parking space. Being honest , Reviews of some of hotels in city centre were helpful in deciding to go to this out of town location

Whilst it has to be said that parking in Inverness is desperate, (apart from one multi storey) Holiday Inn is from that point of view good. To counteract this, the only problem is to get the bus into town means a walk alongside a busy dual carriageway which on a wet night could be a problem. Pity the bus company hadn't considered a bus stop at the entrance , or both Hotels could get a lockable back gate to the shopping park nearby. Not a problem allied to the Holiday Inn alone.

Impressed with the layout and comfort of room.
