An excellent short stop hotel... well located and very clean.

The reception staff could be a little friendlier,

Location, Friendly & helpfull staff, closeness to a carpark which gave discounts to guests.

The area where the breakfast buffet was set out was very cramped with everone getting in each others way trying to help themselves to food. Also there was no room in front or the food trays to rest your tray while you were helpig yourself to food. This was a particular problem with hot food where you also had to hold open the lids/flaps which were keeping the food warm. It was probably worse because it was a weekend & families were all arriving for breakfast at the same time but I think that the layout of the buffet area could be improved..

Hotel quite good but location awful.

The invalid parking bay always had somebody parked there without a badge or a parked car blocking it from being used - so it was of no use to my nephew who collected me every day. The streets around the hotel at night are just a playground for drunks and gangs of yobs - I will never come to Croydon again.

Good hotel, handy location for the price (good rail and tram links to London Victoria, loved the complimentary breakfast, one less thing to deal with and is a good start for the day. nice rooms, well decorated, clean, relaxing.

Area was a bit rough but we were okay with that, I didn't like the hefty deposit required, and didn't like to have my money held for me if I am required to pay upon arrival that's okay, but entering card details on the website then being billed for your money to be held by the company plus your hefty deposit per night, then being billed at the end seems a little excessive. how much insurance and how many times does a company really need my card details?

Affordable rate, Convenient access to central london locations -15 minutes direct train to victoria

Water bottles not provided in room .Had to pay for drinking water.

Love the location for nightlife and eating out comfortable Room

I booked room with specification (and private message) to receive double bed as just got engaged and new year suppose to be romantic first weekend together. When arrived and checked in upstairs in room were 2 twin beds. Went down to change but manager(have details if needed) said there is no room available. So I decided cancel as its not what I booked. I was refuse any refund. I was forced to pay for room I havent stay in. Manager didnt even want make any understanding with me. Told me as I must pay nomatter what. I understand that it says "double or twin" but then there is message as terms and conditions I could add. I had right to refuse stay as booking wasnt what I wanted and what I specified in booking. Im going to go further to claim my money. Thank you

The staff was very helpful and pleasant.

The beds were too small and soft. There was no place to put clothes away for an extended stay for two people.

The hotel is well situated and within walking distance of the main shopping areas and a short walk from Croydon East rail station.

The hotel lobby / lounge area is dirty with badly stained upholstery. The upholstery on the chair in my room was dirty / very badly stained. The accumulation of trash and garbage in skips in the front hotel is not pleasing to the eye. The hot breakfast food is poorly prepared.

The friendliness of the staff and the level of cleanliness for the price

The only thing that bugged me was the horrible smell of smoke as soon as you walked into the room... However after some spray and opening of windows it was fine

It is located in a good place with good transport system and shopping center. And it's really comfortable to sleep in the hotel!

It is a bit hard to find the hotel at the first time

Regarding parking, as we were staying over xmas day was told to pay £12 to park onsite of hotel because q parks was closed, then discovered that people were being given free parking for xmas day, also the space we payed for was blooked by not just 1 car but 2, owned by staff we were told but still had to wait some 20 mins before we could drive away, we did complain severley and eventually got a refund ( not before alot of argueing ). The reservation site and information should be corrected as it causes people to think that q Parks is assigned to the hotel.
